Pack the pet and go! My cat was suddenly hurt and it was already after 8 pm so I was looking for a 24 hour vet but saw this place was open until 10pm! Great facility, great staff and great quality without spending hundreds (I paid less than $100 w/o xrays.) And 100% convenient just off the 121hwy service road @ Harwood. There is a 24 hour VCA metroplex clinic too. I know where I'm taking my pet from now on.

Absolutely THE best vet clinic I've been to in over 20 years! Dr. Neely and Dr. Mendes genuinely care about the pets brought in, and they care about the pet owners as well, being especially understanding and compassionate when unfortunate news must be given. I have four dogs, and we generally see Dr. Neely as our primary care vet. I love that he (and Dr. Mendes too) actually take the time to discuss the exam, answer questions, propose treatment options and give an estimate if extensive treatment is necessary. The main point is that they never act rushed during the appointment. They are very attentive and typically remember my dogs' names even if they haven't seen them in awhile. I used to live 5 minutes from their office but moved about 15 miles away. I STILL go the extra distance to have my dogs cared for at this clinic because I trust them so much to always be truthful, upfront and thorough in their care of my dogs. And of course, their extended office hours including Saturdays is also much appreciated! As for one reviewer who said that their office is expensive; it is not. It's very comparable and competitive with other area vet clinics. If you want a cheap vet, you can always find them in the country where vet offices are few and far between and competition is stiffer. But, as is often said, you get what you pay for. I for one am more than satisfied with Advanced Animal Care, Dr. Neely and Dr. Mendes. And their office staff is second to none, as well! Super friendly, no long hold times, fast check-in, check-out and are very loving and compassionate toward the pet patients as well. I couldn't ask for a better medical provider for my beloved dogs!

Recently, my 12 year old Rat Terrier Winston became ill. We saw Dr. Cassandra Erickson at the VCA clinic in Bedford. After several complex tests Winston was diagnosed with Cushing's disease, and placed on a treatment plan. Dr. Erickson even called me from her home on her day off to give me Winston's blood results because it was so important to her he began his treatment for his Cushing's disease. Winston really likes Dr. Erickson and her staff at VCA. They have treated Winston with tremendous amount of compassion along with the highest level of medical care. Winston looks forward to all of his follow up visits! They are the best!! Shirley H

Took my Vizsla/Doberman mix for the first time about a month ago. I was worried and stressed out that he had allergies because all of his hair was falling out in huge patches and he seemed to be itching constantly. I tried switching his food... allergy shampoos and pills... just about anything before I took him to VCA. After one visit, the vet diagnosed Johnny Utah with Demodex (sp?). He has been on medication for a full month now and is looking 10x better! His hair is starting to grow back and he isn't clawing himself to pieces anymore! They were reasonably priced, but honestly, if you are going to be a pet owner... you need to be ready for ANYTHING financially. If you're not willing to cough it up... maybe you shouldn't have a pet. I paid about $200 total for his 3rd round of puppy shots, rabies vaccine, wormer, antibiotic and mainge meds. NOT BAD!!! The staff was super friendly and Utah loved it there! They were willing to answer all of my questions without making me feel like I was just "taking up their time."
