The CityVet team members are honest and helpful and obviously care about animals. Dr. Tate is terrific - knows her stuff and applies T.L.C. to critters in need.

Dr Schwab is a very personable provider. She saw our cat when he had major troubles and did everything she could for us. We now have 2 puppies and without hesitation took them to her at City Vet. We are also having them boarded this weekend for a vacation. They have a very professional and thorough staff. The only drawback to this facility is the price. We get our maintenance shots through a less expensive facility and use City vet for boarding and other visits as needed.

We've boarded our dog at the Dog Lofts when our regular place was full. The first time it was an absolute zoo dropping him off for the holidays but everything was fine and we enjoyed looking for him on the doggy cam online. The last time, however, we got a call a couple days before we were coming home that he had an eye problem and needed to be checked out by the vet at cityvet (attached). Obviously we had no choice but to say go ahead and treat him since we were on the east coast. When we picked him up he looked completely miserable... he had pink eye and it looked like his eye had been scratched. They charged us an additional $240+ on top of the boarding fees and wanted us to come back, passing the whole thing off as chronic dry eye and advising he would need tear drops the rest of his life. We took him to our regular vet and he was back to normal once the infection cleared up. I'm pretty sure all the unnecessary stress and hundreds of dollars in bills could have been avoided if they were just supervising the dogs. Accidents do happen so I can understand the scratch but if they had been watching they could have cleaned his eye instead of letting it get horribly infected! They didn't take any responsibility for something that obviously happened while he was in their care, just happy to take some more money... Overall, might be ok in a jam but we definitely wouldn't recommend it as your regular boarding/vet.

We've used City Vet/Dog Lofts in Flower Mound several times for doggie daycare and the veterinary services. We have always been happy with the service. The vet is wonderful and helped diagnose some congenital hip problems in our pug. She gave us good tips for managing the problem with pain pills and light exercise (we couldn't afford $2,000 surgery for each hip!). We will definitely continue using this vet. Other vets in Flower Mound have OUTRAGEOUS prices. City Vet is very affordable.

ZERO stars!!!!!! This place is AWFUL and overpriced!! I'm so upset, I picked up both of my dogs today who both boarded in seperate kennels at the City Vet Dog Lofts in Flowermound.. I picked them up after only 3 days of them keeping our "family members" and they REEKED of urine.. We took them both blankets and things from home to go inside the kennel with them to bring them comfort.. Got them all back, which they bagged to hide the evidence, got home and they were literally soaking wet from urine.. I'm FURIOUS because we paid the extra $10 a day to let them have "doggie playtime" with the other dogs for hours every single day.. I can assure you we paid well OVER $200 for two dogs and three days and they NEVER stepped foot out of those kennels.. The second we got home and both of their feet touched the grass they peed and pooped EVERYWHERE as if they hadn't seen the light of day or grass in days!! I'm so upset because these are our babies, our family members.. I was okay with how expensive their daily rates were at City Vet because I THOUGHT I was paying for EXTRA attention and a little more TLC, boy did I have it WRONG!! If you love your pets like we do....BEWARE OF THE CITY VET DOG LOFTS IN FLOWERMOUND!!!! Concerned citizen of Grapevine
