Yesterday afternoon our kitten got a fish hook caught in her paw. We were headed to the emergency clinic, but they weren't going to be open until 6:30. So we frantically headed to Cross Timbers, the closest vet. They were busy but took us in without hesitation, were able to subdue her and remove the hook. Dr. Harvey and his staff treated us like we had been their clients for years even though this was our first visit to their office. Dr. Harvey explained exactly what he was going to do to get the hook removed, and afterwards, explained thoroughly what to expect in the following days. He definitely calmed our nerves! The bill was even much lower than we expected for an unscheduled visit. Thirty minutes after we arrived back home, kitten now without the hook, she was jumping around and playing like nothing ever happened! I can't thank you guys enough and will definitely recommend your clinic!!!
Dr. Harvey and Dr. Lock are fabulous. They have been the vets for our furry kids for almost three years and handled just about everything from routine checkups to surgery to the loss of two cats. Both the doctors and the staff truly care about their clients. We are so fortunate to have found this excellent clinic.
I have taken my 2 dogs to Cross Timbers for over a year now. I have never been happier with an entire vet staff. Both Dr. Harvey and Dr. Locke are great with my babies and they truly care about them. I was shocked when I read some of the other reviews because there is no way on earth I can see them not helping someone with their pet. I just recently found a stray dog with no collar or microchip and did not know what to do. I brought her into Cross Timbers and they got rid of her fleas, gave her a bath and medications all for a discount because of the situation. They even called the Flower Mound Humane Society for me to see if they would take the dog I found into their program while I foster her. They have always called me a day or two after every appointment t0 check on my babies, even if they were just in for routine shots. I have recommended this vet office to several of my friends and I can personally say they are the best!
I absolutely love Cross Timbers! I brought my cat Eva in for her yearly check-up/ laser declaw and they did a wonderful job! They were 100% honest with the pricing and Dr. Harvey & the staff took such good care of my little girl :) I received two follow-up phone calls to see how Eva was doing from Dr. Harvey after her surgery and the entire staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with the declaw process abd aftercare. I highly recommend these wonderful people to anyone looking for great care and honest pricing!
Hello All! As owner of CT-AMC I would like to address the "less than stellar" reviews below. The first by "a Google user" who has stated that we "misdiagnosed" a patient which subsequently died a few weeks later but this is a BLATANT lie. We have contacted Google SEVERAL times trying to get this fixed but Google's response is basically, "too bad so sad." We would N-E-V-E-R say to a client, "that's too bad its survival of the fittest." First, our top concern is the health and well-being of ALL our patients. Second, even a first grader would know you would NEVER say that, even if you were sick enough to believe it!!! Secondly, Our 3-Year rabies vaccine is $18.40. Couple that with an exam fee of $49.95… my math comes out WAY LOWER than $120! I have asked Google for more information on this owner but they have refused. It is my sincere belief that either this owner has us confused with someone else OR, he / she is very vindictive for whatever reason. In either case, I will HAPPILY defend our good name any time! The second one star is a LEGAL issue. As a NON-CLIENT, it is ILLEGAL to give medical advice over the phone. It is MANDATORY to have a valid "client-patient-doctor" relationship PRIOR to giving medical advise. The third and last "one star" has no name, no comments, no anything so I cannot comment on that one. Bottom line: Please read ALL of our reviews. We cherish our clients and patients! I am VERY involved in the town between Cub Scouts, volunteering at my children's' schools, being on several boards… We plan to be here for another 15 to 20 years and will continue to provide only the absolute best care we can for all of our patients. If you have ANY questions or concerns, I encourage you to give us a call, or better, stop by for a visit. We will be MORE THAN BE HONORED to meet you and your four legged family member and after visiting us, I am 100% confident, you will know the above is true. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Obviously, these bad reviews make me upset as ALL LIES generally do. John R. Harvey, DVM PROUD Owner of Cross Timber's Animal Medical Center P.S. The hospital's name WAS Aladdin but I changed the name SHORTLY after my purchase in October of 2007.
