Dr Eubank is one of the most compassionate and down-to-earth veterinarians I have ever known. He understands pets and their owners and takes the time to answer any all question you have related to your pets health.
I called this office because I am new to Dallas. My husband and I were thinking that our Pomeranian was pregnant. The vet got on the phone and answered all the questions I had! I had never been to this vet before. I also let him know that we were interested in holistic approaches to the birth. He told me he would do some research and call me back. He called me back with in 15 minutes about doing some blood work verses x rays for my puppies. The customer service I received with out ever even walking in to the door was above and beyond. I am blown away at this customer service. I wouldn't even question using this vet to deliver my puppies and for many years to come!!
We've been taking our dogs there for over 7 years and highly recommend. Highly personalized and professional!
I had a great first visit today. It's always a bit stressful trying to find a new vet you can trust, not only with your pet but with their business practices as well. After reading great reviews for Dr. Eubank, I decided to give Lone Star a try. I agree with other reviewers that he is more concerned with my dog's health than making a quick buck by prescribing excessive medications. I did not feel pressured at all to pay for unnecessary procedures or products. Instead, I felt well-informed and confident to make the best decision for my dog. My dog has had hip problems for the past 4 years after his pelvic bone was fractured from being hit by a car. Recently he has been whimpering differently than usual after running around a playing. If you're a dog owner, you notice these tiny changes in behavior that may sound insignificant to others but are indicators that something may be wrong. And it had been over a year since I took him to get a check up so I thought I should take him in. I was with Banfield for many years. It was convenient in many ways, but always felt pressured to pay for extra things. And I wasn't always confident that they were good to my dog when I had to leave him with them for several hours. Sometimes my dog was a bit anxious when I picked him up. After moving to Flower Mound, I took him to City Vet. They seemed nice there but seemed a bit pricey, so this time I looked for another vet. I almost don't want more people to know how great they are because that means they'll be busier and have to adjust to the volume of patients, but if Dr. Eubank is to continue providing the best care for my dog, then I need to support his business and spread the word so that he can continue. Having formerly been a small business owner myself, I know the challenges of the business side of things. I want Dr. Eubank to flourish in his business so that I can continue to receive the great care I received today. So if you're looking for a great vet, just drop by and get to know Dr. Eubank and the staff. They're great and I'm sure you'll be excited to have found a great vet. As a side note, I found it interesting that reviews for other local vets were mostly anonymous "Google User"s. For all we know, those positive reviews could have been posted by the employees of those vets. For Lone Star, all the reviews (there were 5 other reviews before me) were posted by people who made their name visible. Even though that's not exactly the perfect way to determine the legitimacy of a review, it does make me more confident that the reviews are genuine.
This text box is probably too small for me to include all of the nice things I have to say about Dr. Eubank, Simone, and the rest of the staff at Lone Star. I can only give five stars since that's all Google allows. (I'd give them five stars times infinity if that was an option.) Sadly, our cat Clover's liver was failing, and we called around for referrals from friends and family for suggestions since we'd been increasingly dissatisfied with our last vet. Several times, Eubank's name was mentioned in the highest regard, so we called Lone Star at 2:30 and were told to bring our girl in as soon as we could -- THE SAME AFTERNOON. Even though the clinic was busier than usual, the staff found a way to fit our cat into the schedule upon arrival. We'd just returned from a two-week family reunion on the West Coast, so I explained that we were limited on funds, but wanted to do everything possible to save our Clover cat. The clinic could not have been kinder or more responsive to our needs and was very direct about handling our girl, as well as explaining costs clearly for every procedure performed. Dr. Eubank, with certainty, was very concerned about Clover's welfare and gave us as much time as we needed to ask questions. I never felt rushed or as if we were inconveniencing him or his awesome staff. The next morning, the office called to check on Clover's progress. When I called back, Simone was very attentive and, again, I was not hurried off the phone or made to feel like a pest in any way. Later in the afternoon, Dr. Eubank himself also called to check on Clover AGAIN. Incredible. I returned his call, and, within minutes, he called me right back and spent about twenty minutes carefully discussing our case. When I got off the phone with him, I genuinely believed without a doubt that his concern was 100% real and that he and his staff truly cared. In terms of veterinary care, I was pleased with the way he handled our girl. She was frightened and wild, but he didn't dismiss her or judge her; he just petted her gently and told her he was sorry she was having a hard time. The office was impeccably clean as well as the examining rooms. He even offered to send me detailed notes and Clover's test results so that I could have them available if I needed to see another vet as well. The customer service here is exactly how it should be at every vet's office. The level of honesty is also greatly appreciated. It's beyond safe to say that all of my animals have a new vet. Heck, if Dr. Eubank treated people, I'd want him to be MY physician, too. There's nothing negative I can say about my experience with Lone Star Veterinary Clinic, and I can't say enough positive words either. I've met my share of vets and seen the insides of many clinics in my trials and tribulations dealing with animal rescue cases, but this guy and his faculty are at the top of my list for clinic care. We will be back for sure. And now...I must return his latest call to check in on Clover. :) Many thanks with extra exclamation points!
