This clinic and all employees are absolutely wonderful! We have had each vet and they have treated our Great Dane and Golden Retriever so nicely. We have also boarded our pups multiple times there and have been really impressed with the care and attention that they provide. We are so glad we found this place when we moved down to Galveston.
I have an older dog who and as with older dogs problems can occur suddenly and I often bring her in without an appointment. Every time, the staff always shows concern and is willing to accommodate. My dog is also super anxious when we are there and everyone has gotten to get to know her due to the fact that she acts like you are trying to kill her! However, the staff never complains and always do what they can to make her feel more comfortable. For example, we never put her on the table because she seems to know thats where she gets poked and prodded so instead they come down to the floor and this really helps relieve her anxiety. They simply care about her well being and wouldn't do anything that caused her more stress than necessary. The doctors are very knowledgable and friendly. They always take the time to explain things in way I can understand and I completely trust them with the health of my sweetie. Really they are just great and I simply wouldn't go anywhere else!
My two mixed-breed dogs were seen by Dr. Henderson this week. He and the veterinary technician were thorough and compassionate. The minor diagnostic procedures (one on each dog) were quickly & skillfully performed. Dr. Henderson answered all of my questions, and we decided on future treatment options for my dogs together. This outstanding care was delivered at the same fair price as the cost estimate I had previously requested & received. What else?? The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. My waiting time was zero (although I expect to wait at any place that has to handle emergencies as well as appointments). Nope, the services were not free-- nor was I offered free pizza or beer-- but I will definitely be going back when my dogs need to see a vet again!
When I was visiting Galveston, my beagle got sick (he wouldn't eat for a few days and when he did he threw it up). I was worried about trying a new place but Christine and Dr. Osborne put me at ease and my dog is back to normal. Fantastic staff and I wish they were in Austin!
