Volunteering at Alief Animal Hospital has been a great experience for me not only did i learned so much but i was lucky to watch and be the shadow of these amazing staff that work so hard all day long and do whatever it takes to help and cure your pets. Being here for just two days has been great! Watching them work so hard everyday and being so loving and careing people who actually love helping and want to make a change for good ! I truely trust Alief Animal Hospital after so many years of comming and bringing all 5 pets here has been a great decision. This amazing staff works so hard that they have to eat their lunch and be helping at the same time i really am really impressed of how work and effort they work everyday to give the very best. Even sometimes when they are really busy they will always check on other patience and care for them .They always give the best treatment or advice of whats best to do.Thanks to them all of my pets have been very healthy and happy. Everytime i would go and help a patient with the doctor he would show his love towards animals and always try to fit their buget and do everything he can to see a healthy dog . i will always trust Alief Animal Hospital its really a great place where you can be confident that they will sure fix the problem.

We found a hurt kitten that had been hit by a car or something and were trying to see if it's injuries could be fixed or if the kitten was to hurt and need to be put to sleep. We had gone to our family vet but he was out of town so they recommended we go over to Alief Animal Hospital. When we got there my mother went in to ask if the vet could take a look at the badly hurt stray kitten we were trying to help. The person at the front said they would go ask the vet. They came back and told my mom the vet said they had other emergencies they had to handle and then would not be doing anything else. That we should take the kitten somewhere else and handed my mom 2 cards. My mom asked if the vet could take one minute to look at the kitten (as the injuries were obvious) and just let us know if the kitten could be taken home for the night & then taken to the vet or if the kitten was to badly hurt & needed to be put to sleep. The vet would not even take a min. to look at the majorly injured kitten. We left and drove to Pet Smart which has Banfield animal clinic the girl at the front got the tech and she said the vet was very busy we asked the same thing we had asked of the Alief Animal Hospital and the tech took the kitten and showed the vet who advised the kitten was in shock & with the infection from whatever had happened to the kitten and the damage to it's leg etc that the kitten would need to be put to sleep. They then advised that we could have it done there but it would be a lot less at the Sugar Land Specialty Center right around the corner. We took the kitten there and the vet agreed and the kitten was put to sleep. Alief Animal Hospital could have taken one min and looked at the kitten. The vet spent more time talking to the person at the front as to how they were done for the day then it would have taken just to give us the yes the kitten can be helped or no the kitten is to injured. This vet is not one we will ever go to nor would I recommend it and I hope that those who read this review will think 2x's about going to this vet. I know I want a vet that it about the animals and not about what time it is as it this was an emergency and just like a doctor pledges to help people in an emergency, I would think vets take a similar oath to help animals in crisis (especially when they are at the animal hospital at work). Scary.

I never usually write reviews, but my recent experience at Alief Animal made me think otherwise. I've been going to this hospital for over 10 plus years, and i have always been satisfied. Nothing really to write about, take dogs in for shots, take them home. This time it was different. One of my dogs got very ill, and i had Dr. Jasti take a look at her. She had the symptoms of a diabetic dog. Dr. Jasti took a blood sample to measure her glucose level and it was too high to read on the meter. He asked me to come back the next day so he could do a glucose curve on her. Nothing was working, she was resisting her insulin and we didn't know what to do. Dr. Jasti decided to keep her for another 2 days for testing. He didn't even charge extra for the extra tests only for the fluids used on those days. Pet hospitalization can be costly, and it can run up in the high hundreds. Dr. Jasti didn't let that happen, he even went through the trouble to deduct some money off of our bill so it was affordable. I have never been to any other vets in town, but i have never been this impressed by a Vet's dedication for my dog. He even takes time out of his busy work schedule to call to check up on her status. I could only imagine the love and nurture he gives to the many other dogs that walk through there. Again, thank you so much for taking the extra time and care to give my dog a speedy recovery!!!!

I've seen Lucky grown up in front of us. We have seen Lucky so playful and never seek. Mrs. and Mr. Shah took care of him more than their own kids. He was so spoilt that couple of times they had to go out of country, they asked me to feed him and I literally had to feed him like baby. He was so sensitive and loving that you can't stop being with him. When we heard to news about his not being alive we were shocked and can at least state that he could be gone like this unless a serious blunder from doctor!!!

Horrible experience. The vet here is incompetent. And certainly don't ever think of using their boarding services, my dog contracted fleas within 2 days. And I'm sure she was not properly allowed to use the potty, her whole bowel movements where horrible after we picked her up. I would rate this place a zero if there was an option.
