Update on October 1, 2014: Today I found out two of my dog's shot records were not accurate. He just received his 3 yr rabies shot two weeks ago and they have on his record that it was a 1st yr shot (needed every year instead of every 3 years). Also, they said his bordetella shot was past due, but he just got his second shot in the series last week! If you bring your dog here on a regular basis MAKE SURE you are saving your records and checking them. January 2014 I have about had it with this place. I have had several experiences lately that were all less than satisfactory to say the least. Let's start with the most recent experience. Yesterday I took my dog in to be neutered. He's a 2 1/2 year old shih tzu. When I went to drop him off I was made to wait about 20-30 min, because I had to be checked in by a technician. Fine, whatever. Then left my dog and picked him up that evening where I was handed a piece of paper, told about the pain medication, and left. Well, the doctor just called me to check up on my dog (at least he was thoughtful enough to do that), but while talking to the doctor he mentioned to me several DO's and DON'Ts that I should keep in mind after the surgery that was never mentioned to me when I went to pick up my dog and not on the stupid piece of paper they handed me that evening. So, not pleased to say the least, and he did assure me he would give that person a "talking to". Other examples.... I take my dog in about once every couple months for grooming (which by the way I have to book usually a week in advance). SEVERAL times I have gotten my dog home from grooming (he stays at the groomer all day while I'm at work) and he goes straight to his water bowl for about 5 minutes, like he hasn't been given water all day. I mentioned this last time I took him in and insisted they leave a bowl of water in his crate with him. They said he was probably just nervous and didn't drink much water last time, but when I got him home this time he acted just fine. Sorry but I think I know my dog better than you. Another time they didn't give me back his toys that I brought in with him (and I didn't notice until after I got home so I never said anything). I know people aren't perfect, but when I spend hundreds of dollars per year at your clinic I expect my pet to be treated better, and instead of making excuses I expect the situation to be adjusted/fixed. Dogs are living beings and I'm tired of mine being traumatized every other time I get him home from you clinic. Does anyone know of another animal hospital in the area?
When I bring my pets here I know that they will receive the best care possible. These people truly care about the animals. Thank y'all for making me feel my pets are safe when under your care.
I have to say this is a nice up-to-date clinic, everyone is friendly & knowledgeable about animals. Our dogs haven't had any issues & on top of that this vet found a misdiagnosis from another vet about heartworms. They are a little expensive (I haven't found a vet yet that isn't) but they are open 7 days a week & also open late.
We had to have our Boston Terrier euthanised due to Cancer and decreased quality of life. I needed a vet that was open late and found this one on the internet. I had never been there and was nervous about going. I have to say that I was incredibly impressed by the care and compassion shown by the staff and the doctor. They explained everything and let us take our time. They treated our dog with dignity and respect. We never felt rushed and the last minutes we had with our dog, Butch, were calm and peaceful. I would definitely recommend them.
I am writing in regards to my kitten Tigger. He ws brought in Tues. afternoon for a new kitten visit. Given a clean bill of health, a shot, and advantage. He has been sick vomiting and is dying before our eyes. We called Thursday and brought him back in to be told you didnt know what was wrong, put some fluids in him gave him nausea shot and sent us home. He still hasnt eaten and probally want make it much longer. When I called yesterday all your tech said was he may need to be hopitalized and she cant tell me how much it will be? Its ridicuolous that I bring in a healthy happy kitten and leave with a sick dying kitten and no one at your clinic cares. All they want to tell you is "bring him in" and spend more money. If I had it I would...but the point is I dont and he was healthy and something your clinic did made him otherwise! Should have read your reviews?
