My little teacup Yorkie, Minnie, broke her leg while playing. I took her to Barker Cypress Animal Clinic and was promptly referred to Dr. Johnson at the Animal Surgery Center. I felt immediately at ease when I met him. He explained the issues of fixing this tiny little bone with pin and wire. The day of surgery was a very anxious day for me but when I picked her up she was completely fine. Within a couple of days we could not keep her down with that little cast on her leg. She is completely recovered and back to normal. Although she still lifts the leg as if it were hurt when she gets in trouble (and then runs out on all fours). The staff is fabulous with much love for our babies. I know my little Sweeney (male yorkie 6 yeas old) will have to go soon for spinal stenosis and Dr. Johnson will be my surgeon of choice.
