Almost $100 for nothing... My dog gets episodes where her ears hurt. She holds her ears with her paws for a moment with her head down and then she's dizzy for a period of about five minutes, running into things and such so I have to hold her when this happens so she doesn't hurt herself. She's a Pomeranian mix and only 5 years old. I read about this online and all the symptoms come back to "Peripheral Vestibular Disease," commonly caused by chronic ear infections. This made perfect sense to me. I told Banfield everything I have said here. They took an ear swab and found no ear infection. For this, $83 (including "office visit) and told me for almost $200 they could run a blood test just to see if there's any underlying causes, and if not, I'd be out another $197 for nothing. Pricing is unreasonable. Human blood tests aren't even that much. I'm so sorry for my doggy and my wallet and that I ever came here. $83 later, we still have no answers.

I will not return because of Dr. Glass and the following: I have a rescue pit bull and originally lived in Arizona where I went to a Banfield in Peoria (great facility, I miss the staff) once I moved out here I called to get more allergy medicine for my Pit and they said they needed to make an appointment. I told them she had been on this medicine for over a year and their records should show that. I also informed them that her records should show I was just at a Banfield a month and a half ago for her spring check up. This did not matter not sure what the point of going with a major chain is if every time I go to a new facility it is going to cost as much as if I'm bringing the dog in for the 1st time ever. Be grudgingly I took her in. The room we were put in was not clean and needed to be aired out a bit longer do to the smell of fecal matter. The vet assistance were very nice and said they were aware I just needed to have the bare minimum done to get me the prescription. Then not even 10 minutes later they came back and told me the doctor wanted blood work and additional testing done. I informed them all of this was done prior to me moving and I was not ready to pay for all the testing until my finance balanced out from the move. The doctor looked into the window about 15 minutes later which seemed to startle my dog because she pulled her ears back and gave a low growl. I patted her on the head and she laid back down. Another 10 minutes went by and the vet assistant came back and said the doctor was going to take a quick look at her in the back. I found this strange because this never took place at the handful of visits in Arizona that I could recall. My dog went in the back and everything sounded normal at first then I hear what I thought was another dog barking and freaking out. As I go to open the door to the medical staff side the vet assistant is bringing my dog back in. My dog is fine again. I asked if that was her and what happen. she says that everything was fine and then when the doctor crossed his arms she freaked out. My dog appears as though she is having the dog version of a panic attack and starts barking again. The doctor then opens the door and is standing in the door way look down at my dog who is now going ballistic. The Doctor with 3 staff members behind him says my dog "isn't right" then looks at me and says you "need to figure out what's wrong with her." I informed him that this wasn't normal and he can check her records, this has never happen before. Then the part that really bothers me is he starts saying that she is a liability and that I would be held accountable if she bite anyone. I wouldn't be allowed back to the location unless I had documentation that the dog saw a behavioral specialist. My response was along the lines of "no shit" and "Thank you for assuming I'm an idiot that doesn't understand how the world works." Ultimately I agree with the doctor and thank good no one was hurt. hell I have already made a call for a well known behavioral specialist in Houston because I was very worried about my dog and her actions. That was a piss poor experience all and all, but I will never go back mainly because of Dr. Glass treating me like an idiot and being so insensitive to the matter.

Been going to Copperfield Banfield for about 3 years now. In the past its always been for preventive shots and checkups, but recently my older pup became very sick and disoriented from too much sun and ingesting too much water from playing in the sprinkler. After first taking him to a so called "Emergency Clinic" and being turned away since "the doctor is in surgery", I rushed him here. As soon as Dr. Darling saw him out in the waiting area, she got us into a room and tended to him. After about 4 hours and before they close, I came to get him and he looked a TON better! I want to thank Dr. Darling and her crew for saving my boy! Honestly, I dont know what would have happened had she not seen him when she did.
