I went here because its closest to my house and I could tell my dog needed help asap. But sadly my 6 y/o bulldog Danny, who I love like my child, died 10 minutes after leaving this clinic. The 1.5 hr / $600 visit ( irrelevant) revealed no obvious problems. My boys heart stopped beating while sitting in their waiting room and he became unresponsive...no real panic ensued but he was revived miraculously at the last minute. My dog became unstable very rapidly..we walked in together but I had to carry him out. I feel we were blown off. There was no great urgency to help or any sign of compassion to speak of. No real desire to help.... Only suggestions on other vets in which I could take him. My dog died in my car on the way to the another clinic....I only wish I would have made a better choice for my boy in the first place.
When I moved to Houston over 5 years ago, the first vet I tried was Braescroft Animal Clinic because they were located very close. I was very impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. I have a cocker spaniel, now almost 13 years old, and two cats, one is 11 1/2 and the other around 8 years who was recently given to me by my daughter. Dr. Lowenstein pays attention to not just the physical aspects of their health but the psychological as well. The office staff is friendly and helpful. I am very satisfied with their services. .
I love this clinic. Everyone is super friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. Dr. Lowenstein takes her time, explains everything in detail, and you DON"T get out unless you understand. My Bandit is going in for a teeth cleaning soon and I look forward to seeing everyone there. You know, I am getting old and cranky.......I may just get a distemper shot for myself while I am there. It couldn't hurt!
I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dog. The service is fantastic. Dr. Lowenstein is caring and personable. Her staff is efficient and always helpful!
I've been going here for at least ten years. They have excellent service and they've cared well for my dogs and cats. My Boston Terrier had cherry eye surgery done on his right eye 5 years ago by Dr. Lowenstein and it's been fine ever since. He developed cherry eye in his left eye 2 years ago and I never had it fixed. I finally decided to get it done last October. I made the mistake of shopping the price and going with someone less expensive. Big mistake!!! It didn't hold and they wanted to charge me full price to redo the tuck. I came back to Braescroft and they fixed it. The third eyelid tuck is holding up nicely now! It cost me more having to do two surgeries than it would have if I'd just come here in the first place. I highly recommend this clinic. They care for your pets as if they are part of their own family.
