I've just started to take my dogs there under the recommendation from a friend at work, who said she's been taking her cat there for 19 years and said Dr. Smith has done wonders with her cat. So since we all only want the best for our dogs, I took her advice and went. Best choice in my life!! Really friendly with all my dogs (I have four so far...and counting), patient, and has reasonable prices for everything. It's really hard to find a vet like this now a days, but I'm really happy I found him.

I was referred to this clinic by my Uncle, who has been taking his dogs here for many many years. I was not disappointed. The staff was very nice, and the Veterinarian was amazing. It was my puppy's first time going to a Vet, and he seemed to like it as much as I did. Prices are reasonable, and the Dr. is very informative and friendly. He answered all of my questions on the spot and was extremely knowledgeable. This is not a clinic that pushes for things your pet does not need, in fact, they seem to try their best to make everything as inexpensive as they can for pet owners. As long as I live in Houston, I will be taking my pets to Clay Rd Animal Clinic.

Had a two of my cats sick with a respiratory infection, they got some antibiotic shots and were doing great then my other two cats got sick. Went back with the other two and they did not charge me an office visit, just there medications. Clinics like this are hard to find.

I WOULD LOVE TO TELL ALL OF YOU TO STAY AWAY SO I CAN ALWAYS GET MY ANIMALS IN QUICKLY, BUT I WOULD NEVER TAKE AWAY FROM THE MOST AMAZING PEOPLE I'VE EVER MET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DR SMITH, YOU HAVE A TRUE GIFT FOR MEDICINE AND IF THERE WERE A "VET OF THE WORLD" AWARD, YOU WOULD GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is NO ONE like Dr. Smith and his staff! He's taken care, great care of our 3, now 2, dogs. He also helped us send our Beloved German Shep to Heaven with Love, and even came to our home, as I requested. One of our dogs, Baby Girl, has been fired by 2 vets. But not Dr. Smith, he's a real trooper, and knows even nervous big dogs need vet care! I can't possibly express our thanks to Dr. Smith, his compassion for the animals he takes of, and the sheer love he displays for them. He'll always be our vet, even tho we moved! Lots of Vets around, few truly love the animals, as I've seen him display his real affection for the animals first hand!
