I have taken both my cats to the doctor here and he and the lady at the desk were so wonderful to them. The first one is absolutely terrified of needles but he was so patient and so caring, he let me hold her next to the exam table so she'd relax even a bit. The second one is a bit of a ditz so she didn't even know what was going on until her examination was done and the needle had already been used. They're affordable but not cheap, but the service is definitely worth every dollar. I highly recommend them.

I've been taking my cats to Fondren Animal Hospital for several years now. You could not find a better vet's office. Dr. Ford and his wife Nikki provide great service and great pricing! Dr. Ford is especially good with cats. I highly recommend this vet to anyone! It is worth a longer drive to take your animals here!

I had been taking my cats to Memorial Cat Hospital for several years and was extremely satisfied with the care my cats received from everyone, but decided the drive was not convenient. I have taken all three of my cats to Dr. Ford and cant say enough good things about him and his wife. The care has been excellent. I adopted a stray and he was having issues with diarrhea/smelly poo and had not responded to 2 other medication. Also another cat acquired. He put them on a liquid antibiotic that was easy to administer and I think they liked the taste. They are are both well and fine. My other cat came down with a respiratory illness and he is on the upswing. Dr. Ford even called to check on him. I have also changed their diets and am buying food at the clinic. Last, they are priced very reasonably. So, if you are in the Fondren/Sharpstown/Richmond/Tanglewilde area and needing a great vet, I strongly recommend Dr Leo Ford.

Confident each time they've helped with my Bichon-Poodle. Fees are reasonable. Always terrific help. Know how to handle pet owners that worry.

We moved to Houston from Colorado last year, and have been through a few highly recommended hospitals. One of them almost killed my dog; granted they could never remember that my dog is female, even while looking at her charts (though they made up for incompetence by being really expensive and in a fancy building with auto lifting benches!) Dr. Ford has been an amazing discovery down here. Practical, fast acting, and bends his schedule for us overly concerned at the last minute dog owners. He is also about half the price of the other hospitals we have been to. We have a 15 year old chocolate lab, a younger mut, and a cat and we highly recommend Dr. Ford's practice Fondren Animal Hospital.
