I have been taking my pets to MVP for 25+ years. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. The whole staff is very personable and knowledgeable. We have had several dogs and thru the years have had to put some down. The staff was very compassionate and professional. Dr. Henderson is great and explains "issues" very clearly! I love them all!!

I used this place to board my old beagle for 6 years, often with very little notice. When I'd call, they'd ask what he weighed, and because he was under 30#, they always had room for him. They always gave him a bath the day before I came to get him, and he seemed very happy and well cared for when I picked him up. They also board cats, in a separate room up front with big glass windows, which seemed very sensible to me and entertaining to my dog. When my dog became old and sick, they allowed me to have him put down without giving me any trouble or attitude. I really appreciated that.

This has to be the best vet ever. I was so scared when I went in to see Dr. Henderson, I thought my dog wasn't going to make it. I told him I would pay whatever it cost to make my baby better just please make him well. After a short exam and a shot and a days rest my little Max was running around the house and digging holes in the backyard again! They could have charged me a fortune and I would have happily paid it to have Max feeling better again, but they didn't! Thank you so much Dr. Henderson!

We took our dog to Dr. Henderson for years because it was convenient. In the final year of our dogs life we saw what he was really all about- money. We never received a phone call to follow up after a visit when our dog was dying. The fee to just see him is very high- he is not personal and does not make you feel like he cares. After our dog was put to sleep and after thousands of dollars and years going to him- a short sympathy card or even a phone call would have only taken 2 minutes but would have meant a lot. We were called when our pets ashes were ready and they might as well have been calling to say our car was ready. No compassion or personalized service or care.

I have known Dr. Henderson and his staff for more than 20 years. They have always been very caring and compassionate toward my pets, and the pets of many of my neighbors. I find it hard to believe anyone could think otherwise.
