I paid ~$1300 for 24 hour care for my puppy. My puppy did make a full recovery and for that I was grateful and didn't think twice about the money. Now not necessarily directly related to this incident, the doctor pointed out that my girl is abnormally thin and recommended some tests for GI issues - which I agreed to (and a bunch of the money was put towards these tests). One test I was told would take 2-3 days to get results and the other was 24 hours. After a week of not hearing anything back I called the clinic. This was approximately 3 weeks ago and I have been chasing them for results. One of the tests was 'thrown away' and not submitted for whatever reason and I had to go back in to have the test done again. The girl at the front desk was kind enough to do this 'free of charge'...(a test that I paid for already and had to drive an hour each way to have re-done). I am now waiting for my results for a test which was supposed to be given to me within 24hours almost a week later. Everytime I call I'm told I'll receive a call back and no one calls, no results, just endless circles. I've never come across anything so unprofessional in my life. They want your money upfront and then it's completely your job to hunt down results and wait weeks while no one has clue what's going on except the doctors who are never available and fail to call back.

I HATE THIS PLACE!!! they only care about the money, asking me what was my budget....i took him somewhere else, and they told me my dog had a virus and that there was no hope. they didnt tell me that info in this place, they just wanted me to leave my dog because they wanted to "watch" him for the night. i bet they already knew he was not going to make it yet they didnt say anything!! if i could give it 0000 stars i would.

My cat had gone into shock and I brought her to NHVS. I want to let everyone know that this is the best emergency room you can take any animal. Everyone was very kind and understanding. They were on top of things and made my cat very comfortable. She was on her death bed and they saved her life. I was able to visit her and call anytime. They treat their animals like they are their own children. I am very thankful and appreciative of this NHVS. I would recommend anyone to take their animal here.

They are all about the dollars. Oh you don't have cash, sorry, take your dog away. Hope he gets better.

Our dog was hemorrhaging from the spleen when we were refered here by our regular Dr. The Vets here were up front and honest with EVERYTHING that allowed us to make an informed decision, including a realistic estimate of the cost. They treated all of us with respect and care - even to the point of letting us humans come in the morning of surgery to 'spend some time' with our girl before surgery. Yes. they may cost a bit more than some vets - but as our regular vet told us they have the technical equipment that her office didn't have as well as 24/7 care. Worth every penny to us. These Doctors and staff really do care.
