Tanglewood is the best place you can imagine when it comes to healthcare for pets. I stumbled on it by accident when my dog tore her ACL and was in need of immediate care. Dr. Rozycki recognized that my dog was showing signs of Cushing’s disease and after her ACL was repaired, he worked hard to figure out the appropriate medication dosage/schedule for her. He was upfront with the cost and mindful of my own financial limitations, and went so far as to find a way for me to get the meds at wholesale price. I was absolutely amazed at his “bedside manner,” and how he would return calls and spend about half an hour answering every question I might have. He was polite and respectful and truly went above and beyond what one would expect from a medical professional. When my dog died, the amount of support and caring from the entire staff was amazing. The vets and staff at this clinic have such a joyful and caring attitude and I highly recommend bringing your pets here.

Yes, I like them. Tanglewood took care of our cat Lindsay until we moved away. They started caring for our boxer as a puppy until we moved to the Montrose area and we changed vets due to location. After about a year, we felt forced to start driving across town to have someone take care of the boxer and our rescue wonder dog we acquired because we knew they would care. So, we now go back there for our pets care even though we live in Montrose. They do care and their prices are at best slightly higher than other vets. Some they are less than. So, It boils down to who will care the most. For our dogs, they do.

Miracle workers! This clinic sponsors BARC adoptions by providing a complimentary wellness check. I took my very sick new puppy in for care. She had a respitory infection from the animal shelter and had not eaten nor drank water for days. She was rapidly losing weight and very dehydrated. The doctors and staff gave her a subcutaneous fluid pack with antibiotics. They also taught me how to gently forcefeed her with A/D can food and Nutri-Cal gel using a baby's medicine "mouth syringe." This place is expensive and they like to take as many tests as possible and make you come back for several visits. My dog has lupus (they never figured it out, Gulf Coast vets did) and they had a field day running tests and making us spend as much money as possible. Dr. Raziki even wanted to operate my dogs eyes because they were red and swollen and it turned to be seasonal allergies (again, other vet figured it out).
