Horrible experience. My husband received some medication form Ms. Savala whom works in this office ( and discovered later was sleeping with my husband) for one of our dogs. My 11 year old bassett had NEVER been seen by anyone here. I was unaware of this and now my baby girl is ill. I called to verify that it is not normal practice to prescribe medication without seeing an animal. So WHY THEN IS MY DOGS HEALTH been put at risk?? I will be contacting an attorney.

I love this place. All the staff is extremely helpful and understanding. I have been going there for almost 7 years. I have 2 beagles. One of my beagles is very sickly and always has complications of all kinds. They have always nailed every diagnosis, worked with me regarding treatments and payment options. My dog has survived all sorts of problems thanks to them. They are very loving towards my pets and my dogs going there...they get showered with love. Routine checkups are extremely through and their customer service is fantastic. Recommended 100%

If all the people that worked there were as kind and understanding as the elder lady who has attended me on two occasions, I would be a returning customer. However, seeing as they turned away my Chihuahua and myself when my Chihuahua was mauled by a chow, I would never go back. We arrived 5 minutes before closing and my Chihuahua was in MAJOR distress and it was clear that he needed medical attention as evident by his agonized yelps and the blood all over my shirt. They simply said that they were closing and that there was nothing they could do. I pleaded that he please be seen by a vet, whereupon the vet tech took my dog and came back 1 minute later saying the Veterinarian on staff had gone for the day. My family has spent at least $10,000 with them....three dogs, five cats, numerous surgeries and several strays. If they did indeed care about animals, they would go out of their way to help an animal in distress and their concerned patrons. They are simply in the business of making money.....nothing else. A busine$$ without a heart. Do not take your beloved pets there.....

Last night I took my Boxer into the West Houston Vets. The dog was having a terrible time breathing and I thought we were going to loose him. It turns out that he had a form of heat stroke and the the staff took immediate action the help our dog. The staff truly cared and did everything in a professional manner. Pretty soon the dog was improving and gave us hope. The doctor told me that she recommended that I transfer the dog to an emergency care facility for over-night observation. It would also cost us over $1000 to do so. Needless to say, I love my dog but believe it's rediculous to pay escalated prices for the care. I refused and took the dog home, we watched him ourselves throughout the night, and he woke me up this morning to go outside (doing fine).

Took my 4 year old HEALTHY yorkie in, as she was limping, and my regular vet was out for the day, and it was the start of a holiday weekend. I just was looking for a little pain relief for her. The Vet told me that she probably torn her ACL or had a patella issue (neither of these are life threatening conditions). She told me that it was necessary to sedate Piper in order to get a good xray. I left Piper at the clinic and was going to pick her up at 6pm. I got a call that Piper "did not react well to sedation, and had DIED". Needless to say, one does not expect to lose the family precious pet, with a sore leg. I am sure that it was not an intentional act, and most likely due to human error. Piper did NOT have an underlying heart or health issue. I am very sad, and will never get my sweet Piper back, but I can tell people about my experience with the Vet clinic. I am sure you can find a better place to treat your animals.
