My pets (dogs & cats) have been cared for by the staff at WAH for 38 years. I lived nearby in 1976 but moved 30 miles away in 2006, choosing to continue taking my pets there for (non-emergency, thank God) surgery, dental, boarding, airline certificates of health, Science Diet & health maintenance. My experiences have all been excellent no matter which of their Vets treated my animals, though Dr. Larry Eckerman has been the PCP for my pets for all these 38 years. Many thanks to all the medical staff, techs and admins.

On Friday, August 22,2014 a young lady came to my door asking if we had a dog. She had on a burgundy scrub top with the words Animal Hospital printed on one shoulder. I opened the door and then she revealed that she was not there for my dogs, but there to talk about her girlfriends emotional needs and asking for help. At this time, I stepped outside to see she had was driving a maroon reddish charger with no animal or pet affiliation labels. She preceded to talk about her girlfriend to my husband, and how she was sorry for misleading us about the dogs but her girlfriend needs some help. She stated her names was Bianca. I asked her to leave at least 3 times she refused. I am filing an official complaint as at the time I did not realize that anyone could tell we have dogs as they bark all the time and we walk them regularly. She manipulated me into opening the door. After along discussion with my husband we both decided the situation was very inappropriate and dangerous. I will be filing an Order of Protection.

The commitment to quality care and service at Westbury Animal Hospital is stunning to experience. My Labrador 'Mick' absolutely loves visiting Dr. Chalkley and the great staff at WAH.

My puppy ran into a glass door and lacerated an artery that tore to her tendon and it was the closest 24/7 pet hospital to my house. They were very helpful and immediately took her to the back to stop her from bleeding. Although they are a little pricey...they give you the high end and the low end of what the puppy will need. I was told by many of my friends that the price I got was actually very cheap for what had happened. The vet was super and informative and the vet tech was super helpful! Will definitely be back! :)

I had brought 5 very ill kittens there, as soon as I went in the young lady at the front said, "Don't take them out, I don't want to see them." It was very rude, and frankly I gave her a piece of my mind. She refused to help us and tried her best to make us leave. The people in there are horrible. All they want is money.
