I was extremely happy with Dr. Buck and the staff at this Eastex Clinic. My 10 year-old dachshund was in extreme pain and they got me in quickly for an exam, even as my first visit. Dr. Buck described the possible problems and prognosis in detail. They were very sweet to Jesse the entire time through doing an x-ray and IV medications. Dr. Buck spent a lot of time reviewing the x-ray film with me and telling me the best course of action. Everyone in the clinic was really nice and caring. 5-star service.

This past weekend I took both of my dogs for their annual check up on a Saturday morning. All went GREAT as usual. I got home and my little dog wasn't feeling to well so he curled up to take a nap. I just figured that he had long morning since he had just gotten his annual shots. Well when he woke up about 11:45 he had 2 little bumps on his nose. I wasn't too worried but just in case I called the vet since they were still open. They asked if I could bring him back because it sounded like he might be having an allergic reaction to his vaccinations. I said I'd be there as quick as I could but it would probably be after 12 which is the time they close on Saturday. They of course said no problem, WE'LL WAIT FOR YOU. When we finally got there my poor little dogs nose had gotten so swollen and and his eye was swelled shut too. They took him straight to the back for a benadryl shot and made sure everything was ok. There was no extra charge either, even though they saved us a ton of money from having to go to the vet ER or something. About 15 minutes later, they brought him out holding him like a little baby. He look a bit better already. Poor little guy!!! The staff is ALWAYS very kind and welcoming to us when we come in. They always love on both of my dogs as if they would their own dogs. I got a phone call Monday morning asking how my dog was doing. Needless to say he's doing great and was back to his normal self by Sunday morning. This vet clinic always goes above and beyond and we love taking our dogs there because we know they get the best care!!! Thanks VitalPet!!!

I've been going to Eastex Vet Clinic for over 20 years and every experience has been great. There have been many doctors through the years and all have been caring and knowledgeable. For the past couple of years we've been seeing Dr. Rubio. He really knows his medicine - both anatomy and physiology. He is careful with my finances and always discusses the cost with me prior to conducting lab tests, x-rays, procedures, and etc. My dog has been with me for 8 1/2 years and he is my friend and constant companion. My dog trusts Dr. Rubio and responds to his care and I really appreciate Dr. Rubio's gentle ways with him. I can't even imagine why someone would ever have an issue with Dr. Rubio's manner. Also, the vet technician, Cissy is a wonderful animal person and my dog and my cats all love her. I am very thankful that I have a place to take my precious animals where I am confident they will be well cared for.

I recently took my dog, Susie Q, to this clinic and am very pleased with the service she received. She was very taken care of in a prompt manner and the clinic staff was very pleasant. They were very quick and seemed to have taken care of Susie Q, as I could tell she was happy. I will continue to do business with this clinic and will refer them to others. Thank you staff!

I have been taking my Dogs and ferrets(when Dr Key was there) there for the past 7+ years. The staff has always been very courteous and helpful. HOWEVER I will NEVER take another pet of mine there again. There is this Dr. Rubio there that has the WORST bedside manners of any Veterinarian I have encountered in my life. Thank you Dr. Rubio for opening my eyes. The Parent Company of EastTex Vet Clinic loses my business today and I feel that the incredible overturn of staff their has hurt there business in my eyes.
