This place is amazing! I found them randomly when my dog needed sudden emergency care as my family was traveling through Lewisville. They were waiting at the door as we pulled up and they gave the best care and attention to both my pet and my family. Their compassion has been incredible as they have done SO much to help my family cope with a sudden loss.

I wish I could give this place more stars! Dr. Moeller is simply an amazing doctor and person. The staff is spectacular and extremely knowledgeable. My cat was sick for months... she refused to die, so I refused to let her. I saw many vets before the problem was finally diagnosed. I was referred to the Specialty Care Center, and it was the luckiest break my cat and I had in months. Dr. Moeller answered EVERY. SINGLE. QUESTION with complete patience. I have never felt more comfortable before going into a surgery (my own included!!). He fit a 3 inch diameter piece of intestine to a 1 cm diameter piece of intestine. Cut a tennis ball in half and fit a cheap water balloon around the equator of the ball. He did that, except inside a 7 pound cat... without killing the cat. The surgery was done without incident and my cat has pooped for the first time in four months. Have you ever high-fived your girlfriend after watching your cat poop? I have, and it was awesome. THAT ISN'T ALL! My cat received a burn from a previous surgery at a TOTALLY DIFFERENT vet. Dr. Moeller looked after my cat's burn, and saw us two times-- without charge-- in regards to a problem from a totally different place!! Dr. Moeller also let me send him daily pictures of the burn's development, and gave consultation over the phone multiple times... for free. Who does that??? Dr. Moeller.

It doesn't get better than CVSC. They are the nicest group of people I've ever come in contact with. They all stay calm and considerate during an emergency, and they truly care about you and your pets. I will always recommend them to friends and family for their pet emergencies.
