Highly disappointed with Old Orchard Animal Clinic. I am a brand new puppy mom. I took my maltese puppy in there 3 times for puppy boosters, rabies vaccinations and heart worm prevention. The shot records are very old school and hand written. Dr. Kirby had checked the box showing that my puppy had a "bordetella" shot. I had been taking my puppy to doggie day camp and doggie hotel thinking she had her bordetella shot as her records reflected. I wanted to try a new doggie day camp, so I took her to Petsmart. Petsmart told me since the records were "hand written", they would have to call my vet to verify that my puppy had all the required shots. Helen at Old Orchard told them my puppy had never received a "bordetella" shot like her record showed. I was extremely upset, because my puppy had been attending day camps without having that required shot. I am also very disappointed that Dr. Kirby did not recommend shots knowing that I was a new puppy parent. They lost a customer they could have had for life. I am now in the process of looking for a new vet to go to regularly and to also get my puppy spayed. I am very sad with the whole situation.

I have taken all my Animals to Dr Kirby for about 20 years now,from general check ups to shots to surgery & Etc, you will not find a more caring compassionate Vet, He is genuinely there for the care of your animal.There needs to be more veterinarian clinics like him and his staff. They are all oustanding and very helpful.Hands down best Vet in Lewisville......

I cant explain it, but my cat freaking LOVES this vet. He goes into a sort of snuggly, purring frenzy when we walk in the door. So, obviously Dr. Kirby is wonderful with animals. The prices are very fair and the whole office is very helpful. I really appreciate all of their help. :)

We LOVE taking our little pup Maggie to Dr. Kirby. He is very nice, answers all your questions and really loves the animals! And...the prices are great!!
