Today we had to bring in a chameleon that was wild caught and not doing well. When wild caught chameleons comes in they are usually not as well fed as one in captive care would be. This chameleon was doing very bad (we had 20 shipped in) so we brought him in to Preston Lane. When he came in the chameleon got worse and he was tossing him around like a rag doll and squeezing on his intestines way to hard and proceeded to tell us that he sees them all the time. (When we came in all the vet techs and even other vets came in the room to see him because they had never seen one). The chameleon was sucked up because he was stressed out (natural defense to make them look taller and larger). Overall the vet was lying about how many chameleons he sees and has absolutely no idea what he was talking about and was very rude to us when we asked him not to throw him around like he was.
