I have been going to Veterinary Clinic of Lubbock for a few years now. I love how informed their staff is and how caring they are for all the animals that walk through their doors. My friend just got a new puppy and this is where I recommended that she go.

Although I have never gone to this vet clinic I decide against it each time because I've called around to all the vet clinics all over Lubbock and they are always the most expensive vet clinic in the area. Now I'm from a big city, Dallas, and even then our vets there do not charge so much just for spaying/neutering or even regular yearly shots for pets. On top of being pricey, their receptionists are rude and unclear. They don't mind putting you on hold for more than 5-10mins and when they finally answer your call they speak super fast like they want to get rid of you and move onto the next caller. If you ask them about pricing it takes them forever to look it up and even then if you call again and it's a different receptionist, they tell you a different price. This place is unorganized and rude. Definitely not a place I want to take my loving cats. I can't speak for the actual veterinarians, simply because I've never spoken to them, nor have they worked on my pets.

I have 2 dogs that I have taken here for a number of years. I have always been happy with the care that they have received and the vets really are interested in my dogs and what's best for them. The only thing I don't like is that a cat is hanging around the desk and lobby. I don't like my dogs getting too close to any cats not in a carrier because I don't know how they are going to act together. I am also severely allergic so it can get uncomfortable for me.

The best vet I have ever found. They are true lovers of all pets

I have been using Dr Hernandez for about 20yrs and have always left feeling my animals were treated with the best care possible. My animals were cared for like they belonged to the employees.
