We have used this clinic on numerous occasions. Recently our cat went into Kidney failure and was admitted to the care of Dr. Kristen. Dr. Kristen answered all of our questions in a timely manner and cared for our 17yr old cat with considerable care. The staff were all professional and caring. They accommodated, without fail, our requests to visit our hospitalized cat several times a day. From the waiting room to the clinical area everything is clean and orderly. From the Front Desk to the Cat Hospital I noticed the animals were well cared for and seemed happy. The staff would greet patients (pets) by their name, with love and concern. My only complaint was that Dr. Kristen, a well trained, highly esteemed, and an excellent Vet from the University of Louisiana left our cat in the care of another Dr. from the University of Missouri for a day. Can anything good come out of Missouri? (LOL) This is a first class clinic. I would recommend all of the staff, even Dr. Kevin, to anybody. I may start using their Horse Dr, for my personal medical care even if he is an Aggie. :-0)

I worked at this clinic. The staff in the medical building do not care for the animals. They are not animal lovers so think about this before you bring the animals you love so dearly to them. They keep the place filthy. There are fleas inside the cages where they keep animals while in the office. Surgeries are fair game the door stays open anyone and everyone can walk in and out chat with the doctor who has your animal opened up on his table. The boarding facility has had many problems with infectious diseases such as kennel cough which is an air borne disease. Many of the employess neglect your dog for a whole night if you brought them in "to late in the day" because they dont have time to mess with them. They have had tick infestations many a times. One of those times their own blood donor dog was bitten by these ticks and contracted Ehrlichia which can never be cured. many of these animals have been known to jump the fence which if you will notice is directly adjacent to the highway. Please think before you bring the animals you love to these people.

Hope Animal Clinic was my vet clinic for a couple of years. My Lhasa Apso, Vinny loved going there. (I say loved because he had to be put down a short time after we moved to Austin.) When he went in for his groomings, he was so excited to visit Grace and all of the other ladies at Hope. When we would come back to pick him up, he always had to say goodbye to everybody there before we actually got out of there. They are very friendly and knowledgable, and they actually seem to care. When my cat, Yogi started having problems going to the bathroom, I called HAC after hours on a Saturday and got a response within an hour. It wasn't what I wanted to hear, but I brought him in the next morning (a Sunday) to be tested and eventually put down. It was a sad moment, but it wasn't their fault my cat was sick. They were very kind and understanding. They let us say our goodbyes in peace. I was in there for over 30 minutes with Yogi, and they made no attempt to rush me out. Their prices can get steep, but that's the price you pay for good service. I live in North Austin now with my two cats Shea (who is also a prior client of HAC) and Pebbles (a new edition), and I have yet to find a vet clinic who is half as good. I'm even considering driving the hour and a half to Hope when it's time for their check ups and shots.
