Dr. Campbell is hands down the BEST vet we have ever used, and we have no intention of ever using anyone else. He performed surgery on my puggle to fix his cherry eye, and went above and beyond out expectations. He spent the days before the surgery doing research and gathering information just to make sure he did everything perfectly even though he'd done the surgery several times before. He called us before the surgery began and as soon as it finished, and kept us updated on everything. When I went to go pick him up, he sat down with my husband and I and took the time to answer all of our questions and make sure Batman (our puggle) was good to go before they discharged him. When Batman had an allergic reaction to the medicine he was given, Dr. Campbell made time for us to come in the same day so he could personally check on him and make sure he was alright. This vet truly cares about the animals he treats, and took every possible measure to not only take care of our beloved pet, but to make sure we felt happy and reassured as well. I wish I could give him as well as the rest of the staff 10 stars rather than 3.
I wouldn't send my worst enemy to that place! They vaccinated my cat, who then had a severe reaction. Just before the vaccination the vet was called into the adjoining room where a dog was also having a bad vaccine reaction. That night in a 24-hour emergency vet clinic we ran in to the people who owned that dog, and they said both their dog and cat had bad reactions. Only the dog required emergency care. That's three bad vaccines in a space of about 15 minutes. Don't cha think they would care to find out why?? Uh Uh. They kept promising to look into it, and the vet said he would cover the clinic cost but they did neither. I finally gave up after numerous attempts at the clinic and corporate office. They simply do not care about the health of their patients at either the store or the corporate level. I just feel obligated to warn everyone I know not to take their beloveds there!!!
Actually, you should be mad at the company that made the vaccine, not the pet hospital. A Dr. that went to school for 8 or more years is not going to screw up giving a vaccine. It simply goes under the skin. Or maybe you should be mad at your cat for having the reaction. Different animals act differently to the vaccines given. Obviously, all of the pets were reactors...it happens. Not out of the ordinary. I have had no bad experiences there. It is your average vet clinic.
