When our little Alice Joy, a 4 year old ginger cat, got lethargic and stopped eating, we were very alarmed. We have four cats, but little Alice is the smallest and my husband's constant companion. We knew we couldn't wait until Monday to take her in, so took her to the Emergency Center on a Saturday afternoon. The medical people got to work just like medical people at a human hospital, working fast and seriously. Alice's symptoms were very puzzling so they did a lot of tests to try to diagnose her. She was a sick baby - a one point they thought we were going to lose her - but in the end the antibiotic seemed to kick in and, after a three day stay, we were able to bring her home. So far she's doing ok at home, so we're hopeful. The doctor who saw her when we first took her in, whose name I'm afraid I didn't get, and the one who treated her the most, Dr Wooley, were wonderful, very professional and caring, just what you want when a pet you love is in trouble.

This place is great!!! Dr. Claus was absolutely wonderful. I brought my cat in and she explained the procedure and explained results in owner talk...she even drew me a picture. I highly recommend this clinic. Staff is kind and caring. Clinic is spotless.

My kitten had tons of fleas and little did i know that that was extremely dangerous for any animal especially kittens and puppies. I had always thought that just part of having an animal. Anyways she was extremely anemic and was going to die if they didnt give ehr a blood transfusion, They always had a smile on their face while explaining everything to me.. They never gave me any attitude due to my lack of knowlegde on kittens wellbeing. They gavemy kitten the transfusion but after a week they diagoned her with brain damage due to lack of oxygen to the brain when she was anemic. She ened up dying but i will never forget to come back with my other animals whenever i have a problem. I feel more comfortable there tha in a regular vets office. I will reccomend them to anyone and everyone

I hate to read that there were people that had a bad experience here. I have 5 dog and have had 3 emergencies that they have treated. They have always been supportive and informative each and ever time. Right now they are treating my little Peanut and without him he surely would have died. Yes it is costing me a fortune but that is how all emergency vets are. Its the cost of around the clock care. People ER's are also overly expensive but can you really put a price on the health and well being of your family? Whether they are people or animals, they are all family to me.

My little munchkin is afraid of the storms and when we had the bad weather come through this past Thursday he was outside in his barn while I was at work. When I got home he was acting very strange and yelped when I touched him, then I noticed his stomach was rock hard and he looked to be "twitching" and spasming. I freaked out and ran him up to LRH and saw Dr. Begthel. She was so kind with a smile on her face and walked through everything with me. The x-rays showed he had a lot of air in his stomach which was thought to be due to excessive panting and anxiety. The diagnoses was a strained muscle in his back which caused his spasming and pain, which this is all believed to have been brought on from the storm anxiety. My process was quick and the staff was very nice. I would recommend this clinic to anyone in need of emergency care for your babies.
