    DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG WITH THIS PLACE!! We had our dog stayed with this pet resort for several years; our initial exprience was fine, and our dog seemed happy when we pick her up. However, problems with this place started about a year ago, when our dog was bitten by another dog during day care; afterward, this resort admitted that the offending/biting dog had a history of biting others, and somehow they ignored this history and continued to allow this aggressive dog to come to day care. The other frustrating part was that this resort stuck us with the vet's bill, instead of asking the biting dog's owner to pay for the bill. They cited that "this is a common policy, regardless whose dog is at fault." It did not seem worth the trouble to fight over a bill for $90, but it left a sour impression for us. We just picked up our dog today from her Thanksgiving stay, and there were six bags of food unfed (unfortunatley we did not discover this issue until we got home and checked her belongings). We aked the store folks about what happened over the phone, and they gave me the run around, citing "oh it's possible that she did not eat her food and our staff put the food back into the ziplock bag (by the way, I told them that such a practice is unsanitary and should not be done anymore)." After a few minutes on the phone giving me excuses, they finally discovered that no feedings were recorded for the last 2 days of stay, without a reason recorded. They asked me to wait until they have had a chance to speak with the staff responsible for feeding our dog. I patiently waitied half an hour without a response and called again, and they cited that the staff was out to lunch and would not be back for another 30 minutes. By this time I WAS FURIOUS and asked them to call the staff on his/her cell phone, and they refused to do so and stated that they would like to discuss with the staff "face to face." IT WOULD SEEM THAT STARVING SOMEONE'S DOG FOR TWO DAYS WOULD WARRANT A MUCH MORE URGENT ATTITUDE AND SOLUTION THAN ASKING THE OWNER TO WAIT UNTIL SOMEONE RETURNS FROM LUNCH! Our dog ate/drank fine when she got home, but did so as if she has been starving for at least a couple of days. It is clear that she did not get fed for at least 2 days. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE WHICH CAN"T EVEN PERFORM THE BASIC FEEDING.

    I brought my dog Zues here a little less than a year ago for daycare and when he first started coming the staff literally had to carry him to the room. After about 2 weeks, he knew the building and as soon as we would pull up he would perk up and immediately follow the staff to the back, now he jumps out of the car behind me and runs to the door. The staff are very courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. I recently moved closer to my job off of I-10 so Zeus is not able to attend daycare as often, when I do have a day off, Zeus is at Fondren 5 Star for the day and trust me when I say he has no memory loss of where he is even though he not there as often!

    I love this kennel. I love getting my dog back with no issues. Last time we left her somewhere else, she got fleas. This has never happened at Fondren 5 Star Kennels. I would love to keep bringing my dog to Fondren, but the last time I tried to schedule something with them, the woman on the phone was rude, she wouldn't answer my questions, she wouldn't work with me in any way. She was very curt and impatient with me. I am a really easy person to deal with on the phone. If you can't do something, that's fine, but there is no reason to be rude about it. By the end of the conversation, I was shaking I was so angry. I did absolutely nothing wrong, I just had a few questions about booking some time at the kennel. She made absolutely no effort to accommodate me. In my book, there is no call for rude customer service. I won't be going back to FFSK even though I like their kennel. I don't ever want to deal with that kind of customer service again. So, for customer service - I give it 2 stars For the actual kennel - I give it 5 stars.

    My dog came back with fleas and they completely denied any responsibility when my dog came in clean! Never again!

    Finally! A place Lucky Loves! I use their Indoor/outdoor runs with the patio when i board them. Recently their home decor dropped down to 75% off and so i had to..like a sucker..buy alot! Over the years I've gotten tons of things for lucky from them...Collars...precise food...toys...dog bowls...and even a really really nice bed for lucky. ( it was like $90! but worth it! he sleeps on it all the time).. Oh and of course lucky gets his hair cut there too.. Plus the front office staff know me by site.. its kinda like Cheers..where everybody knows your name. and your dogs hehehe!
