They were recommended to me about 8 years ago when we inherited an extra large Sheppard mix from our son when he had to move away. The have been the most caring staff imaginable from the doctors to the techs and office people. I only wish I had experienced that kind of attention and professionalism with the "people" hospital staffs. They have seen us through the loss of our first dog, the foster care of some eight other dogs and the care of our three adopted dogs. I would never want take a dog to any other place. Since we first went, they have greatly upgraded their facilities but they are still the same attentive, friendly and profession staff all at very reasonable costs.

Upon first entering the facility, it looks like a hospital for humans. Expensive looking and this is quite deceiving because they are very reasonable when it comes to price. I must admit I’ve had only 2 visits. I have a 10lb terrier that is 14 years old. Old enough to have old age problems and she does. The staff is very helpful & professional. After the initial visit, I’ve had to make several phone calls with questions. I have only good things to say about the answers and concern that I have received for assistance. The waiting room is incredibly spacious. So if your special little one is not friendly to others, chances are good you can find a quiet corner to help keep them from disturbing others. The wait time in the lobby was very short. Both visits were less than 45 minutes each. All of my questions were answered with the undivided attention of the doctor.

Making an appointment was easy and fast, the front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The waiting area is a nice big size so I can keep my fussy cats out of the way. Sometimes vet techs are obviously more comfortable or suited to handling dogs, and it can be awkward for cats, but these vet techs and the vet were great with handling my cats as cats. The vet was both in and out pretty quick, but she did take the time to listen to my concerns and discuss them with me; I didn't feel like she was rushing me or didn't want to hear what I had to say. My cats have never been so calm as they were at our appointment there - no idea why, but I'll take it! Seems like a great practice, I'll definitely keep going here.

Been coming here since I was a kid ! Now I'm grown with my own pets and they take such great care of them ! Recently my dog was attacked and the emergency vet wanted $3,000-5,000 I ended up transferring him to Lake Olympia and it only cost me $680. There's no one I trust more got their health :)

We have great experiences with Lake Olympia Animal Hospital. We have been taking all our animals here for years. The staff and the doctors are friendly, professional and know what they are doing. I really appreciate the genuine care they show to my pets. I enjoy being able to get my dog food in office as well. Highly recommended!
