We have used Neighborhood Pet Health Center for 9 years. Dr. Johnson and his entire staff are the best. Along with their extensive expertise and knowledge they are extremely caring and empathic. Last year we lost our dog to cancer and they were so warmhearted and condolatory that it somehow made the worst thing ever more tolerable. When we got a new puppy they were extremely helpful with his socialization process. I can't say enough about Kelli (the vet tech) and the entire technician staff. The front desk crew is compassionate, competent and overall a joy to deal with. They will treat your animal as if he/she were their own. Don't hesitate to use this office for your babies.

We are extremely happy with our Neighborhood Pet Health Center experience. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The vets and staff are very knowledgeable and always take the time to explain the details. I live overseas, and NPHC made it easy to get care for my dog who my parents are taking care of during my absence. Lisa and the rest of the staff have made everything go smoothly, easily overcoming the typical difficulty associated with trying to setup payments, get prescriptions or make appointments from across the globe. The communication from NPHC is the best of any vet I have been to. I highly recommend the Neighborhood Pet Health Center to anyone looking for a vet in the area.

Dr. Johnson is an amazing vet who has treated all of my dogs for years. He has a special way with animals and truly loves each and every one of them. His experience, knowledge and skills are invaluable to me and my pets. You will not find a better vet anywhere in the DFW Metroplex. He takes the time to explain things thoroughly in simple, easy to understand terms and allows you to weigh all of your options for the best treatment for your animals. He has cutting edge treatments available such as Cold Laser for pain relief and numerous other healing applications, he is very knowledgeable in reproduction and puppy development, is PENN Hip certified, familiar with the various aspects of OFA health testing and has an ultrasound available. Additionally, all of the staff at Neighborhood Pet Health Center are extremely friendly and make you and your pets feel like you are part of their family.

After living down in Texas for one year, my cats had a very serious flea problem. From the atmosphere, I knew I would be paying a bit more than other vet clinics in the area but I was more concerned with the care of my cats. Personally, I was impressed with the friendliness, the helpfulness and the knowledge of the staff. They worked with my vet hospital in MI to make sure all records were received. Plus, they gave me a short tour of the boarding area as well. Had to trust my gut on where to take them and Neighborhood Pet Health Center was the only one.

Our family has used Neighborhood Pet Health Center for about a year, and we continue to be impressed by the vets, their staff and the facilities. The facilities are clean and organized, including having separate areas/examination rooms for cats and dogs. The technical staff are always compassionate and friendly. The vets, including the head vet and owner, have been great to our furry kids and they're very knowledgable, easy to talk to, and it's apparent they're passionate about their work. I recommend this vet center to people new to the area, or someone who may be looking to switch vets.
