I've been bringing my dogs here since we moved to West Texas almost 4 years ago. I REALLY like the doctors. I feel that they are very caring and very thorough. The level of care is they provide is top-notch and the prices are very reasonable. And while the building is older and could use some repairs, they definitely keep things clean and sanitary. My only problem is with how busy they've become. They take walk-ins, which is wonderful, but it means that even if I've made an appointment, I am going to wait at least an hour AFTER my appointment time to be seen. If I DON'T have an appointment, the wait will be more like 2-3 hours. On the other hand, the doctors never make me feel rushed during my visit. They spend as much time as needed to perform tests/treatment and explain things to my satisfaction. Realistically though, the building they are in is just not large enough to accommodate their patient load. They need more front office staff, but don't have anywhere to put them. (I always feel the most sorry for them, running around as fast as they can and bumping into each other...it must be really frustrating!) All in all, I think Angel is a very good veterinary clinic....as long as you have the time to spend waiting for your turn.

They're not as "unsanitary" as people seem to say. They wipe down the tables and scales, and mop the floors almost religiously. Their initial fee is pretty decent, $25, and compared to the $40+ of other places, this is quite a discount. The doctors are caring, and the techs are always friendly. I've brought in a dog I found hit by a car, and they took him in right away and even let me pay what I could (which wasn't much, at the time). I've had a few problems taking my rats there, but otherwise the cats, dogs, ferret, and rabbit are all fine and dandy and received the best care. Veterinarians skilled in rat care are difficult to come by, so I don't blame them one bit. They definitely tried very hard with my babies! Also, their spay/neuter fees are wonderful, it's a same-day procedure, and I've never had any problems with any of my cats afterward. Definitely a good place to go.

Jeff and Becky are number one in my book. They are very compassionate and do everything possible to save your pets lives. When they cannot save them and have to put them down they comfort all concerned!

I've been taking all our pets to Angel Vet for years....they are by far the most affordable vet in town and the Dr's are top notch....their clinic is great, I don't know why others say it's unsanitary that's just a crock....I had 2 dogs spayed there and had no problems with secondary infections....they've always provided caring treatment to all of our pets and I would highly recommend them to anyone....they are the best.

Angel Vet spayed my moms dog and they did an awesome job, after the surgery she wasn't acting quite right so when I talked to the vet she said she was probably being over paranoid but she wanted to keep the dog overnight to ensure an excellent recovery and did so at no extra charge. This is a place with a staff that truely cares about their job and its not just another paycheck, I will reccomend all of my friends come here with any animal needs.
