After seeking medical care for my little 4lb Yorkie at my family Vet of 11 years I turned to Dr. Rogers who came highly recommended. My little girl was in terrible pain and could not run or do any of her normal activities and was obviously quite ill. The vet I had used for years was not finding any answers and kept pumping her full of pain medications explaining to me that she had a possible back injury or perhaps a kidney stone (an incidental finding) was causing severe pain.... as her health continued to decline. After a couple of weeks of this and many dollars later we took her to the Emergency Animal Clinic of Collin County for IV treatment for dehydration and antibiotics until morning. Dr. Scoville was her primary care doctor while there and she was extraordinarily professional, very impressive and extremely experienced. The next morning we rushed her to Dr. Rogers...it was a very close call, but Dr. Rogers and her staff saved my little girl's life. She had Pyometria and had to have emergency surgery. It is incredulous that the my regular vet had not diagnosed her illness, even after I had pressed and suggested that this could be her problem. Many thanks to Dr. Rogers, Dr. Sharp and the entire staff...they did an excellent job in treating not only my sick little dog, but giving me comfort in a very stressful situation. I would highly recommend these compassionate and extremely capable veterinarians.
