We brought in a homeless scared little dog that was so precious, just to get checked out and get his shots. This VET was rough with our new little guy, and when our dog yelped, this VET guy got startled and he pricked himself with the needle. In his bizarre response, he picked up our dog by the scruff of his neck (which was swollen from some recent dog bite during the time of being homeless), and this 200lb. man clenched his fist and shook it in our little 7 lbs. dog's face as he dangled him in the air!!!! He muttered something as he was clenching his teeth tightly too!! IT WAS INSANE!!!!! So much anger!!!

We've been taking our pets to Dr. Allen for about 4 years now, and he is by far the best vet we've found in the area. He's warm and friendly and shows a genuine concerns for the animals brought in. I've never had to wait when I've have an appointment. Prices for services are not too bad. We moved away from Plano (to Rowlett) but still make the drive to go back to Dr.Allen. Highly recommended!

Front office not very friendly, and the Vet was not very personable or friendly either. They didn't seem very tuned in to our dogs. The vet seemed kind of rough with our small one, who is usually very friendly and he made sudden movements toward our other dog who is very nervous around strangers. I would think a vet, of all people, would know how to approach an animal but I guess not. He didn't seem very interested in our animals. We will continue to look elsewhere for a better experience.
