My wife had been researching vets in the area and decided to go with them. I don’t want to make this overlong so I will get right to it: • When my wife dropped her off she specifically asked them to bathe her. They did not. • Later that day the facility called to ask if we would like to give our dog IV fluids because she is “larger, and growing fast.” Not dehydrated or because she lost a lot of fluid. Because she is a “larger dog and growing fast.” We declined the $70 IV fluid, and low and behold our dog is just fine, weird. • My wife also instructed them not to repair her small umbilical hernia. They repaired it, charged us $60 and said that “someone called.” No one called except for the lady trying to sell us on $70 dollars of IV fluids. The kicker is that they made an ADDITIONAL incision to repair the hernia that we asked them to leave. • They did give us a $25 discount for messing up. But wait, you charged $60 AND didn’t bathe her. Needless to say, we will not be utilizing this facility ever again.

I cant speak enough of Dr. Carver and his staff. We have been going to him for about 15 yrs now and he has literally saved 3 of my animals from near death experiences. I trust him with each and every animal I take to him, He is knowledgeable and caring. I know when I take my animals there he will make sure to do anything possible to save them. This last time we took our dog who showed serious paralysis. He not only took him under his wing, but showed compassion and was able to do aggressive conservative treatment on our dog. Because of that, our dog shows little to no damage from his ruptured discs. I recommend everyone to go to Dr. Carver. He has proven time and time again that he is reasonable, compassionate, and really cares about your animals. I know when I go in to Humane Animal Hospital that I will be treated with respect and my animals will be taken care of as I would have taken care of them. There is no one better out there.

Don't ever go here. My dogs ears are still giving them a problem. The medicine they gave me burned them when I called about it there commit was stop giving them the medicine. Really now!! I have have many dogs have yeast infections in their ears and it was cleared up right away with the right medicine. He squeezed my one dogs anal glands and now he is leaking all over the place. Again i have had dogs anal glands squeezed and it was taken care of the first time. The worse is my cat. She has growths on her skin and was chewing herself raw is some places, He put her on massive steroids and then increased the dosage and told me to take pictures of her every other day and he would call or email on what to do next. HE NEVER CALL ME OR EMAILED ME ON WHAT TO DO NEXT. I CALLED THE OFFICE SEVERAL TIMES TO VERIFY THAT THEY GOT THE PICTURES AND TOLD THEM ME HAS NEVER CONTACTED ME. MY POOR CAT HE LEFT US HIGH AND DRY AND NO ONE IN THAT OFFICE CARED. DO NOT GO TO JOHN CARTER. HE TAKES YOUR MONEY AND YOUR ANIMALS NEVER GET CURED.

My family and I have taken our pets (members of the family) to Dr. John Carver for over 13 years. Our experience with Dr. Carver has spanned the entire lives of some of our fur babies. He is an incredibly competent, compassionate and caring vet. I have always found him very thorough in the care of our pets. He has always taken the time to explain the details and suggest what is best for our situation from vaccinations and oral hygiene to the most difficult decisions at the end. I would recommend him to anyone.

The doctors and staff at Humane Animal Hospital put the pets first and go above and beyond to make sure they are well taken care of - who would want anything less? PS - Their rates are comparable to other vets in the area and they offer discounts for annual vaccinations and teeth cleanings.
