Tucker went for his training and came home with his basic commands. When I picked him up, it was my turn to be taught how to work with Tucker. The trainers are always patient and laugh when Tucker does something silly. You really know this is a great place because when we arrive for our one-on-one training Tucker is so eager to enter. When we have our one-on-one training I am always asked how was Tucker's week. Any issues or concerns I have, they always help me to help Tucker be the best he can be. I am a visual learner. The trainers always show me first what to do and then Tucker and I practice. I always feel confident when I leave there. Love this place!

The entire staff cares about all the dogs in their care. My dog is in the training program and has boarded at K9 University. She is excited every time we walk-in which is a miracle because at prior kennels she would act terrified! I am so glad I have a place she likes that we can trust. Thanks to K9 University she has some doggie manners now with their training!

From Day Care to Grooming to Boarding to training, our dog Tori loves K-9 University. Tori has participated in all of these activities at K-9 University and while she loves day care the best, all were valuable to her and to us her owners. Training was great and the feed back you get while training or while boarding is an extra bonus. We have no worries about Tori's welfare while boarding or at day care as the staff loves our dog and what more can you ask for than that.

All three of our dogs are graduates of K-9 University in Garland and we board them there when we have to leave town. They love everyone there - Fred is their absolute Hero! When a dog's tail wags every time you go, you know that they are having fun there. For training, for boarding- they are the absolute best. We don't groom our pups so can't speak to that. We have a Yorkie (almost 7 years old), a Pug (2yrs), and a German shepherd/Huskie mix (

My son talked me into getting a Siberian Husky puppy. We thought we could train him but every time he would take a drink of water (which he loves) he would pee. I didn't have time to get him outside. I didn't know what to do. I really didn't plan on spending more money to train him after spending the money to get him and buy the crate but I had no choice. I researched dog training places in Plano and went to see 4 different ones. I liked the people at K-9 and the way the training program was set up. So I went with them and it was worth every penny I spent. My dog will be 4 years old in January and he still goes there for doggy day care and I board him there when I go out of town. He truly loves it there and the trainers and assistants are his second family. I have recommend K-9 to my friends and they agree with me that they are the best. I know that any dog I may get in the future will be trained by them. Also let me add that my dog loves his crate and if he hears me say the work crate he goes and get in it. This is important when you have a breed that is well know for chewing.
