Care, once we actually received it was adequate. However, we had a 2.5 hour wait in the little exam room before we actually saw anyone. During check-in, the two women up front were unprofessional and laughing about how they had made several billing mistakes previously. Then, I was a little surprised when one of them (who I thought was a receptionist at best) was in back helping during my pet's procedure. Also, and this is an EXTREME dislike of all emergency clinics, NONE of them will give you any type of estimate up-front as to what needs to be done in order to gauge whether you can afford their services or not. There's no reason they can't give a very rough estimate, even on the high-end, for the services you'll likely need.
We took our dog here because he was vomiting and having bloody stools. We were taken in and seen pretty fast. The vet told us she was going to run some tests on him and do some xrays. They asked to keep him over night. I called them first thing in the morning and asked how he was. They told me he was fine and was on fluids. I asked about all the testing they had run. They told me they didnt do any testing and the vet went over that with us. I reminded her that we were told tests would be run, but she said no the vet didnt want to do that. So my dog was kept in an emergency vet clinic to just have fluids and nothing else run. It was $490 for fluid only. We then had to take our dog to our regular vet so they could run all the tests. The poor dog is still sick and I feel like if the tests were run the night he was at the emergency clinic, we could know what the problem really is. Instead, we are back to where we started. This place is horrible and really did nothing for him. It was a complete waste of time and if I had known they were going to treat him like they did, I would have kept him home and just taken him to our regular vet the next day. Wow. Really disappointed in the care and treatment of this place.
Our little dog became extremely ill just before Christmas vomiting, trembling and panting and we brought him here as our regular vet clinic was closed for the holiday. They said he has pancreatitis and diabetes but a three day stay proved to be what most people will make in a month: 2300.00. They kept him hydrated and said they were checking his glucose levels every two hours and gave him pain meds. When we picked him up this morning he was no better! Threw up three times on the way to our vet, trembling and panting in pain. The highlight of our experience was being told at midnight Christmas Eve that we needed to bring a check over for $1400 immediately as my husband's card has a cap on transactions. We were told that our deposit of over $300 and the additional $1400 would take care of everything until we were scheduled to pick him up only to discover we owed another $300 plus. These prices are extreme and I am very concerned that the past few days have done nothing to help our dog and that he might have been suffering unnecessarily for three days. AVOID if you can find an alternative.
My dog had been hit by a car and was apparently blinded. From the receptionist to the tech to the doctor, she received excellent, professional care. I was not sure how the vet would be, working in a clinic instead of regular practice. The vet we saw was excellent! He was as knowledgeable about canine eyes as the specialist we had seen for her cataract surgery several years ago. I saw several other animals, cats and dogs, taken in for care as we waited our turn. Your animals are in great, caring, competent hands here.
My dog was very ill and this clinic is this closest one to my house but after 5 or 6 times calling them to see what they recommended doing I only had one call answered and when it was finally answered they put me on hold for about 7 minutes then hung up on me. Wouldnt even take the time to talk to me.
