Dr. Shepherd is by far the most empathetic, caring and thoughtful vet I've ever met. We had to put my 13 year old dog down today and Dr. Shepherd was so kind and compassionate during a very difficult and emotional situation. He did everything to make our Lilly comfortable today and allowed her to pass with dignity and respect. I will forever be thankful to Dr. Shepherd.

Caring staff. Their prices for EVERYTHING are ridiculous. Just an appointment to do a check for my small dog is around $160. That's just stupid. I've lived here in Roanoke for over 12 years and seems to me that he keeps getting more and more expensive.

I used this vet when i first moved to roanoke. he wanted to keep my dog overnight because he didnt have time to see him and it was all for an ear infection. Drove to another vet's, they got him in right away, because it was just his ears. Gave him meds and all was well. he also charges too much vs other vets in the area

Roanoke Animal Hospital has the nicest staff. The Vet was so nice and very helpful. All the techs were great and loved on my dog. The ladies at the front were great too and very helpful and went out of their way. I wish my doctors office was this nice:) From Lady Love Mom
