The Dr. is an total jerk. I took my dog to them because she was having seizures and all I got was berated and talked to like I was an idiot. He has zero personality. I only went there because they opened earlier than my regular vet who is also 45 minutes further away. I had forgotten why we drive 45 minutes past this guy. I think my dog is going to die and he is bust trying to strong arm me into treatments that have nothing to do with why I am there. He gives me an estimate of over 800 bucks. I said I can't pay that. Not that if I could afford it I wouldn't just I don't have that much money. Particularly since he said he had no idea what was wrong to begin with. He was obnoxious to be kind in his description. When I said I wanted to pay my bill and take my dog he yelled, yes yelled, at me, called my sick sick girl "your damn dog", and take him (told him three times she is a girl) home to die. Never again ever will I take even any pet of mine here. I'll go to the 24 pet ER and pay out the nose rather than deal with this sorry excuse of a Vet.

I highly recommend Lakeside Vet Clinic. I took my 10 year old dog to Dr. Walker because she was having "accidents" in the house and she was just not feeling good. Since she is so old I was afraid this was going to be an ongoing problem and I might have to put her to sleep. Dr. Walker treated her bladder infection but he also did bloodwork and other tests on her and found she has diabetes and thyroid problems. Now that ALL her problems are being treated she is like a much younger dog. She plays and runs more and no more accidents in the house! Dr. Walker gave my Rosie a new lease on life.

We've been going to Dr. Walker for over 5 years now and he's by far the best Vet we've ever had. Our dogs are part of our family and Dr. Walker treats them as such. I will say that Dr. Walker is very thorough in getting down to the root of the sickness and I prefer him to be that way there are no surprises and additional costs down the line. Dr. Walker is very informative about the care that he gives and he's never done a procedure without our knowledge of what it included, especially the cost. If you're looking for a seasoned and knowledgable Vet in the Rockwall/Rowlett area I stronglty recommend him and his staff!
