All profit. No concern for animals beyond making a buck. If I could leave 0 stars I would. We work with animal rescues saving dogs from kill shelters here in Texas and the surrounding areas. My wife and I personally use an over-priced vet in northwest Austin primarily due to the fact they they offer free examinations and heavily discounted services to us for our rescue animals. Banfield charges full price for the services they did perform and would not even provide a bandage or cone for an injured dog we are fostering. I understand businesses need to earn a profit, but concern and community support should be part of everyones' plan. We have two cats, two dogs and regularly foster rescue dogs throughout the year (5 over 2013). We spent considerable money at PetSmart for food, supplies and grooming. No more. I will not spend a dime at PetSmart or Banfield again and will voice my opinion at every opportunity. In retrospect, I should probably have supported our local businesses anyway. Going forward, this is one corporate box retailer that will not get my business again ever.

At first I was kinda unsure to make an appointment because of the reviews but I am really glad I took a chance!! Dr.Vega was amazing and her staff was understanding and very helpful. Dr.Vega explained everything thoroughly to us about our dog and was upfront about all fees. I will continue to take all my dogs there. You won't be disappointed :)

Great service! A little on the expensive side unless you get on one of their care plans; getting on one of those (even though it makes a commitment) makes it much easier on the wallet. Dr. B is who sees us and he's great. Our dog had been struggling with abnormal hair loss for over a month and we had tried a different vet over the course of that month to no avail. First visit here, within 2 minutes Dr. B pegs it as fungus and gives us some medicine for it. Now our dog looks great! Definitely sticking with them for our dog.

After reading the negative reviews I decided not to bring my cat here.

I had a great experience here. Polite and helpful people. We signed up for the wellness plan and it is great! We have all visits so far have been included in plan and I think it has saved us money. I would recommend this place.
