My dogs have been taken care of by Dr. Moebius for almost seven years. Hands down, he is the best vet I have ever had!!! The entire staff is awesome-- friendly, caring, helpful, and well informed on the latest in vet medicine. From the front desk to the back office they are all wonderful. Facility is very clean, meds are always read when promised, visits are smooth. I cannot say enough about the level of care given to my pets. I moved 10 miles away from them...but they are worth the drive and I continue to use them. They treat you like family. Cannot recommend them highly enough!!!!!!!

Love Dr. Hohner! She is the best and she truly loves animals. She's always so kind to my dogs and eager to get to the root of the problem. Deb at the front desk is so kind and I know she truly cares about our fur babies. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

HAD TO LEAVE THEM. Nice staff, seem to care about animals and pets, but they prey on emotions and are quick to put a LARGE price tag on them. Took our dog in for a routine check up. Blood test was done and some results came back. Some level or another was "close to the lower end" of where it should be. Still in the "Normal Range" just a bit low. - This turned immediately to "I am concerned about cushings" They then wanted to run another $350 - $500 for more tests (we just finished a prelim test to get the "normal" results). On top of that a rather expensive medicine cost that should be taken for life...All for NORMAL RESULTS. I told them we'd think about it...NOT!!! Then these guys performed a lab test AFTER WE LEFT AND PAID and sent me a collections bill...."oops we forgot about this test". Most recently we had to go in for anal gland issues. We've been back 3 separate times in 10 days. $450 total so far. Each time we left it didn't seem the issue was corrected. I finally had enough. We went back to another Vet further away....first visit all cleared up. MRAH seems to be about the upsell and may not have the best Vets going right now. I suggest looking elsewhere

Been taking my pets here for years. Staff is friendly and helpful. A good deal of lab equipment is onsite so most testing is done quickly. Vet has boarding facilities and a daycare. A groomer is conveniently next door. Side note - like most of the reviewers here, I got on to review this one vet. I find it suspicious that some of the reviews are so close together and are scathing and I suspect they are from the same person. If you are looking for a good Vet, Dr. Mobius and his staff are knowledgeable and are very compassionate. Don't let these flash in a pan reviews from people (or person) dissuade you from giving them a call and actually talking to them. One visit will show you how untrue some of the other reviews are. Side note - There is no 'adoption' adoption agency 'across the street' from MRAH. There is a set of apartments and some other residences. MRAH has never contracted for sole surgical rights in conjunction with adoption. This is a flat out lie.

TERRIBLE. Cares more about money than animals. Example #1 – My friend adopted a dog from the adoption across the street which Murphy Road operates. After paying a sizable adoption fee, they informed her that she was required by contract to get the dog neutered at Murphy Road and that part of her adoption fee went toward the neutering. She thought no big deal.... UNTIL THEY CHARGED HER $500 FOR NEUTERING. Average cost is barely over $100. Not Convinced?. Example #2 – Every 3 months when I get heart worm medication from PetMeds which requires a authorization from my vet. Problem is Murphy Road blocks the authorization and then tries to sell me the same medication. I say no because I have quit going to the vet because of the insane pricing. They then proceed to tell me, “Well, we assure you where the medication is coming from unlike PetMeds and we only want what's best for your dogs.” I still tell them know, please authorize our payment. They then tell me, “Well I will submit this to our Vet, but I am not sure when they can get to it.” I then say, so what you are telling me is you want what's best for my dogs, but won't authorize my payment? They then proceed to hold up the payment for 3 days after 2 more calls to their office demanding to speak with a vet, which they declined to do. Example #3 – I have been getting email marketing, direct mail marketing literally every few days for months telling me my dogs are overdo for services they have already had. I am not joking, at least once a week for months. Example #4 – Our vet bills were almost double the bills we have now with Richland Animal Hospital. This business is a racket. Do NOT give them your business. Try Richland Animal Hospital instead. Much better service and fair pricing.
