We have been bringing my moms dog here for many years. We have always been pleased. In May we board our dog and as always before we pick her up we have her groom and bathe. It was done wrong and the dog had sores, rashes and bleeding. We had to bring her back for treatment and and was told by the vet that they trim her too close. Good thing was not charged for the visit bad thing dog now hates to go. So when we brought her in last week told the girls at the front desk if we could get a trim and not a shave like last time. Was told should not be an issue. I got a call from the groomer and was told he would only do a shave due to the fact that she had so many mats. I inform him that she did not have them when we brought her in. I asked him could we just do a summer cut, answer no. Explain what problem was last time and his reply was thats the price you pay. Then ask if i could speak to someone at the front desk and he told me to call back that he could not transfer me. After back and forth told them to bathe the dog only. Almost an hour later received another call now we can not bathe her because of the mats. Talked to manager and the groomer is independent and can do what he wants. Bad service. The only good is the girls that work at the desk. Moto Members of our family. hog wash.

Dr Hendrix is the BEST Vet I've ever come across. He's very caring and concerned about his patients, And the parents of his patients. He's as honest as he is, no matter what the situation. He doesn't sugar coat the problem which is what I Love. He gets to the point and tells you what you need to know. I Just LOVE Him! When the Top has blown off of a situation, he lets you down easy, offering options and tools that you are able to choose from to help your pet be as comfortable as possible, no matter what the situation is. His staff of girls from the front, right on to the back are very caring and professional as well. I Love this Clinic and the People that work in it. Thank You Dr Hendrix for Everything you've done for my family and I. I appreciate it more then you'll every know.

I am deeply disappointed. I took my pug here for 3 years. She died today and the ER doctor said she was diabetic and had been untreated. I went to this clinic twice this month. I asked if she was diabetic based on her increased hunger and thirst in the past but was told it was the steroids for her allergies (another treatment option which was highly toxic). Both dr. hendrix and dr.brust were negligent. If they had done the test based on my request my baby would still be alive. I trusted them and have been wronged. I called yesterday morning about my dog's excessive urination and got no response till 5:45. I called from the ER this morning and got no response. I did call and let them know that my baby passed on at 11:00 and no call from the doctor. I think they started off with good intentions but now its a business and nothing else. My two other dogs are going to go to another vet. This hospital is not for me anymore.

I would just like to say that today was one of the hardest days of our lives.We had to put our little 6 year old Boxer ( Brandy) to sleep.She had Lymphoma. We have been using Dr. Doug Hendrix at Sugar Land Pet Hospital for at least 15 years now.We can honestly say we could not ask for a better doctor and friend for our babies.He is the most caring,considerate and warm hearted person we have ever met. He came to our house today to help us get through one of the most difficult things a person could go through ( putting their baby to sleep). We feel so blessed to have him as our family doctor for our babies and as a friend.He has always been there for us and our babies. If any one out there is in need of a family doctor for their pets we cannot speak highly enough of Dr.Hendrix and his staff.He goes above and beyond what most would do.You can tell he really loves his job and truly cares about evryone's pets.We just want him to know how much we truly appreciate him. My sugar gliders are loosing hair I did some research on what vet will be most cualified to answer my question I contacted these hospital to talk to DrDavid m brust for help left many massages with he's staff my name number type of heath issue and he never returned not even a courtesy call so disapointed from all the tube videos it seems like he care but I was wrong he only care about the money which I was willing to pay for a phone consultation since in from Florida and he's hospital is so far away in Texas, but wat a disappointment thanks for caring Dr David burst !!!!!!!!!!! :(
