If I could give 0 stars I would. Like others have said: he over charges and is very rude and condescending. He makes you feel like if you don't spend hundreds every time you come in then you don't care about your animal. We had been taking our dog to him for a while, then one time our dog got really sick and we ended up paying hundreds for nothing. We decided to get a second opinion and when we asked for our dogs records he didn't want to release them. We had just paid for extensive blood work and x-rays he made us feel we needed otherwise our dog would die. Then when he did finally give us the records the x-rays and information were sub-par.

Dr. Durham is a wonderful vet. He does not rush through your visit like many veterinarians. He takes time to listen to all of your concerns and examines your pet thoroughly. Dr. Durham makes sure that you understand the possible causes of your animal's ailment and partners with other leading professionals in the Dallas area when necessary. He also ensures to answer all of your questions and concerns whether you are at an appointment or simply calling because you are worried about your pet. I would definitely recommend this caring and compassionate veterinarian business.

I would recommend Animal Health Center of The Colony. Dr. Durham took very good care of my Siamese kitty when he had a blocked urinary track; this is common for male cats. He was very gentle with my cat and took the time to explain EVERYTHING he was going to need to do to make him feel better. He did NOT rush and answered EVERY question. He gave a FULL estimate of costs before performing any procedure. Dr. Durham called twice with updates. ANY vet visit is expensive but when you get quality time and care it is worth it especially when it is a "member of your family". His staff was very nice too.

I will not be going back. They are expensive, oversell treatments that aren't needed, and the vet is a little condescending to owners.

Dr. Durham was knowledgeable, professional and didn't talk over my head. He gave me great insight on what was going on and helped me prevent it from happening again. Thank you so much.
