I am forever grateful that VCA was open on Saturday, as no other animal hospitals are in Victoria Texas. My little Cotton Bear, my ten year old Lynx Point Siamese rescue baby apparently ingested something toxic, and I at first thought he was dying from the FIP virus. After the doctor and staff gently and compassionately cared for my baby bear, hydrated him with an IV, gave him an antibiotic for his fever, I am happy to report he has come all the way back from the edge of the rainbow bridge! He is eating, drinking, playing, jumping and seems to have at least 8 lives left! Thank you all so very much! May God bless you each for the care you gave my precious little guy! Kari M Elkins

Dr. Froelich and VCA have been our pet doctor and hospital for 12+ years. They are kind, concerned individuals who value us and our pets. Sammie (12 year old dachshund daughter) is experiencing aging problems and we are having to adjust ourselves to a different kind of care giving. They are always there to answer questions and give advice on how we can give her the best possible care. She especially enjoyed her latest sonogram "belly rub".

Great facility! when i walk in they are cheerful which puts my dog at ease. The vet tech asks me before performing any tests or procedures, there is never a surprise when its time to pay. When my dog kept pulling out his sutures after a surgery, they happily stayed after hours to re-suture him at not cost. I recommend them to friends all the time, very friendly staff!

A real shame. I have two cats and a dog that I've taken to VCA. When I took my dog in we had just gotten him and he had worms. We decided to go ahead and get him looked over and get some tests run to make sure he was healthy otherwise. When I spoke to the woman on the phone she told me that the package that would include everything I needed would cost me $90. After my dog's appointment I went to pay and my total was $165. Apparently this "package" was nothing like what I needed and we had tests run that we didn't need to have run. Not only did the price come up to way more than we were told, but the treatments the woman on the phone told me would be included, were not. I ended up paying my last penny to the vet and had to schedule another payment for the remaining $65. I was completely screwed over and got no help at all to fix their screw up. Had I been told correct information on pricing, I would have had the testing done at a later time. Pricey compared to better services in the area.

Please ignore the first review....whoever this grumpy person is doesn't appreciate actually talking to someone who is cheerful with a smile on their face when they go in an establishment. The girl who answers the phone is awesome and the staff is unbelievably concerned and friendly. Haven't had my dog groomed there yet, but am planning to.
