They are too busy to help a dying cat. He can't breathe and is in horrible condition, 16 years old and needs to be put down, but they are too busy!!! They are only worried about padding their pockets with cash. Well, they will now have three fewer animals to help with that, because I will not take my dogs to a place that cares so little about animals. I took him to Bay View Veterinary Hospital and they helped this poor animal find some peace.

He gives out medicine that is expired & charges you full price for a piece of garbage. I asked him to remove 2 tumors on my dog dropped him off when is returned to pick him up he had only removed one. The one he left in my dog was bigger than a fifty cent piece. His explanation was that the tumor disappeared when the dog was under & reappeared after the surgery was over. Furthermore, he would not give me any finical break on another surgery... it would be full price again. Went to another veterinarian in syracuse & she had to reopen the area where he had taken the first tumor out but had left in all the roots that had branched out from it. She also found 3 other tumors which she also removed & saved my dog's life. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG!!

Love this vet! Dr. Cook is the best Vet we have ever been to. Our dog tries to hide from him, and I feel bad because the Dr. is helping him but he's been to the Vet so often that he knows what's coming when they get the thermometer out of the drawer and he sits immediately. Dr. Cook has helped our very sick dog become a happy, healthy boy. Our dog has almost died 3 times, and each time, Dr. Cook has saved him. Even when our dog hemorrhaged for no reason (HGE), and when he ate a spider and swelled up, he was always 100% better within a few days after seeing Dr. Cook. The staff is very sweet, and they genuinely love animals. We have been to this vet about 30 times in the last 2 years, and I would recommend it for anyone who has a dog who has more health issues than most dogs would. Our dog has allergies and many other issues from where he was born. This vet helps us manage all his issues.

I've been going to this clinic for seven years. I took my 10 month old pitbull mix to this clinic after her and my 2 year old boxer were in a dog fight the night before, we seen doctor Eric Krasa. The first thing he said when he entered the room was "Is that a pitbull?" My dog was perfectly kind to everyone in the clinic but when he entered the room my dog backed up against the wall, the hair an her back stood up and she growled (which is out of her character). The vet had a musle put on my dog and informed me for 45 minutes in the presence of my 11 year old son and 5 year old daughter that my dog was aggressive and needed to be taken to the shelter to be put down. He went over and over the liability and home owners insurance coverage needed to keep an aggressive pitbull. He stated that puppy classes were no use for this type of dog and giving her to a family that didn't have another female dog would only be pawning my problem off on someone else. He said that my dog would need to be sedated in order for him to clean her wounds because he wasn't going to risk being bitten. I left my dog at the clinic to have her wounds cleaned for about an hour and a half. Upon returning they were reluctant to bring out my dog the vet came in and discussed that she would need an antibiotic twice a day. (That's all he said.) When the tech finally brought my dog in the room she was crying uncontrollably and urinating all over herself and the floor. He had cut what had been a small tooth puncture wound into a huge gash about a 1/2 of an inch around and at least a quarter inch deep on the top of my dogs nose without telling be before or after he had done it and also never offered any pain medication for the now huge wound on the top of her snout or offered any advice on how to keep the huge open wound clean. I am astounded and apauled with the unprofessionalism and nerve of any veterinarian that would lecture an adult pet owner infront of their two small children on not paying for medical care to treat their injured family member but to rather spend that money on having the dog euthenized. I'm also very upset that he cut a huge hole in my dogs face without telling me first. I believe that my dog was neglected and hurt while supposedly having her wounds cleaned all because of the type of breed she is. also after our terrible visit I read these reviews and seen that another pitbull had been mistreated at this clinic. I'll never return.
