The WORST Vet Hospital to ever bring your pet to. My dog was scratched on her eye by a cat, we called to see how serious it was and they advised us to come in "Immediately". In which we did, our initial way to even sign in was 45 minutes. We could hear laughter in the background, finally when someone showed up we got paper work filled it out and waited another 45 minutes to be put into one of the seven unoccupied rooms. We had a single person that was ahead of us and we sat once more for another hour and thirty minutes before we finally decided to just walk out. Not only was their service absolutely bad but their prices are too. It would have been $85.00 out the door to just get an exam. The only reason why this was our last resort was due to the fact the next day was Sunday and our home vet was closed. Our dogs eye was healed up and looked absolutely fine by the time we decided to leave the place. We felt there was no further examination necessary at that point especially from these folks at this location. So please for you, your pets, and your wallets sake take them somewhere else.

I was not impressed with anyone in this facility aside from the front desk person. The veterinarian who was there was extremely unprofessional and rude, she disregarded what we had said was going on and said that our dog was fine for the night and to have a procedure the following day that was very expensive as apposed to other veterinary clinics that I had called and asked how much the same thing would cost. I would find another place to take your beloved pets/family members if you want them and yourself to be treated with respect and not be taken for every penny they can squeeze out of you.

The doctors and staff are very competent and do seem to care about the animals they treat. My dog is on chemo requiring recurring treatment every 3 weeks. UVC is the only place that can treat her because she has a central-line. Short & sweet: Carboplatin injection $120, 2+ times of previous vet Re-check fee $35, FREE at previous vet 1 hour procedure ran-long; $30 fee for outpatient hospitalization, $17 at previous vet Cerenia anti-nausea injection $105, $51 at previous vet Expected bill, from estimate: $270, out-the-door pop $386 BOTTOM-LINE: UVC provides quality pet-treatment at PLATINUM PRICES. I make good money, and I'm not cheap. What I earn in a day was gobbled-up in 90 minutes by UVC. Based on actual-experience and verifiable costs, expect a 100%+ mark-up, minimum, on everything. The only thing I found lacking was a cash-register 'announcer' sounding each time a customer walks in the door with their pet, but they would charge us $30 for that. I'm glad they opted-out!

I had to take my pup here on new years eve in 2012 due to a deep laceration in the opening of his ear canal which he acquired a couple days earlier in a small altercation with my brother's dog. I witnessed and broke up the fight and it seemed to be no big deal, especially after I checked him over for any injuries and found none at the time. Fast forward a couple days and he was in really bad pain and his wound started to fester. I could never knowingly allow him to suffer and not do whatever I could to help alleviate his pain and discomfort. This place seemed to be the only one taking patients at 3:30pm on new years eve, so we had no other choice. I knew it wouldn't come cheap or easy, pet care never does. But there isn't a dollar I wouldn't pay to save my best friend. From check in, through surgery and on to recovery, I felt the staff had my loved one's best interest in mind. I don't feel I was overcharged in the slightest, nor do I think if I had gone to a non-ER clinic, that it would have been much cheaper when all was said and done. They cleared my dogs infection and sealed up a wound that was two days old and when he decided to escape from his bandages I took him back in and they restored them at no extra cost to me which I thought was extremely generous of them to do. If they were only out there to prey on loving pet owners, I would have only negative things to say about them I would not be a returning customer. But alas, when my brother's husky was caught in an illegally set coyote trap off of Bacchus HWY about 8 months ago around 7pm on a Sunday, this was the only place I could think of to take him that I knew I could trust to take excellent care of our loved one. They were so compassionate and genuinely worried about his care and safety. I have been to renowned clinics that have fantastic reputations and been treated as if I was ignorant and non-important, but the staff here does a great job and I think they value their guests, both human and canine alike! ;)

My 2yr old mutt cut her pad very deeply and required sedation and suturing. The inital ER doctor that saw her was upfront with exactly what everything costs. They give you an estimate with exactly what each thing costs. Honestly the worst part was trying to keep her bandage on after the fact. She got it off and ripped out her sutures. When I had to take her back, it of course costed more money because it was our fault for not watching her closely. She had to be sedated and resutured they didnt charge anything extra out of what was needed. After we got that settled she ended up sick again and again our family vet sent us down. This time she needed more than an in and out procedure. Perhaps it's because we are from the East Coast where it has been our experience that veterinary care is higher priced but I still did not feel the estimate was unreasonable. She is not an easy dog to deal with, she is aggressive to other dogs, hyper and generally uncooperative but the staff and Drs never held it against her and I have a happy healthy pup. I'm sure in the remaining years of her life she'll require this hospital again and I wouldn't hesitate to take her back.
