We have been taking our two dogs to this Vet since arriving from Texas a couple of years ago. We have always gotten fantastic care, great availability of appointments and we board our pups there regularly when out of town. Extremely friendly staff, excellent service, highly recommend!!!

We have gone to over 5 different Veterinarian clinics since getting our dog Barry a year ago. I cannot believe the outstanding service we received here at Timpanogos Animal Hospital. Our dog got pretty sick so they got us an appointment immediately. You could tell that the vet there (Jess Anderson) genuinely cared about our dog and took the time necessary to explain what needed to be done. I didn't feel like they were trying to upsell me on anything and didn't feel pressured into spending more than was necessary like every other vet has made me feel. I will never bring my dog anywhere else! I would VERY highly recommend this clinic.

These guys are the best! We had out dog Baxter who had cancer and our cat Jinx who had pancreatitis. They treat you with the utmost respect and try to do everything they can to make your pet happy and healthy. I will be a lifelong customer.

Such a great facility. I walked in with my dog who looked like she was on the brink of death. The doctor was so throughout. He truly admitted that he couldn't tell what was wrong with her jut by looking at her. I understood that because there were no obvious signs to her ailment. He, himself was worried about her. He informed me that she needed to have blood work done. He let me know if he didn't find anything wrong with her that way, that there was a series of tests that needed to be done. He took her back immediately and treated her like she was the most important animal there. The nurse didn't know exactly how much it would cost. She gave me an estimate that only varied $100. I understand things happen in the back that I know nothing about. That being the whole reason I take my animals to the vet. I don't necessarily know why it costs as much as it does to have an animal be seen by a vet , but it is in very close comparison to when a person goes in to see a doctor. The prices are high. He called me immediately and told me that the blood-work showed no signs of any illness. He quickly asked permission to do an immediate ultrasound, due to what seemed her deteriorating health. The nurse once again let me know an estimate of the costs. My dog is big and I get that sometimes she requires more work than a small dog (equaling more money). He then called me immediately with her results. Letting me know the test was inconclusive. I picked her up and he told me he would like to conduct the ultrasound again FREE of charge as soon as they opened the next morning, so that he could make sure that he didn't miss anything. I brought her back in the morning, they took her right back. The test was again inconclusive, all while my dog is almost too sick to walk. He took me into a waiting room and told me how important this issue was to him and how badly he really wanted to figure this mystery out. I could not have asked for anything more than that, finally a doctor that treated my dog like it was his own. He then asked if he could take some x-rays of her. The nurse came in and told me what the estimated cost was and she was spot on. The doctor called me after the x-rays were done and with a very upbeat tone. He finally had figured out what was wrong with my dog, and why it made sense that he didn't find anything earlier. I went to pick up my dog, and I was so elated! She was back to her old self, they were so throughout in explaining her medication to me and talking about it as long as I needed. It ended up costing $900 Yes, that's a lot of money in a few short days. Bu,t we knew going in it could be expensive. This wasn't a quick fix. I'm from Nevada, and I will tell you, compared to the vet costs out there Timpanogos Animal Hospital was very comparable. He isn't a dog pound, where you might be able to get mediocre cheap care for your animal. Those tests, the doctors time and the time of his employees aren't cheap. It is what it is, so for those of you who were upset about his prices I completely understand your disappointment, but don't give the doctor a bad name for it. It isn't his responsibility to lower his prices according the every customers specific monetary situations. I could have gotten those tests done anywhere else for the same price, but I promise I may not have been able to find the same care and one on one attention that he gave my dog, anywhere else. I will definitely recommend this animal hospital and will continue to take my dogs there.

Way over priced. I feel like all they wanted was money. They didn't care about financial standing and what I could afford. The woman Veterinarian that I went to didn't seem professional in the slightest. In fact I had to check her tag to make sure she was an actual Veterinarian. They made me feel like I was taking poor care of my dog because I wouldn't buy their dog food, or their heart-worm pills (mind you Utah is a low risk state for heart worms). You know that awkward moment when you open your door to a sly salesman standing there? It felt like I was shelling out money to have that experience. I have had cats and dogs my whole life and they have lived an average of 16 years each. I know how to take care of my animals, and I didn't appreciate their attitudes. I don't care if they are just down the road from me; the next time I need to take my dog to the vet I am driving to Mountain West Animal Hospital in Springville, or West Mountain Veterinary Hospital in Payson.
