The clinic is clean and the receptionists were friendly. We just adopted a cat and took it there for a health exam and to get spayed, but the cat had a medical complication. The veterinarian (Dr. Rimmasch) that we talked to on the phone and in person had a terrible bedside manner and was not at all helpful in explaining treatment options, accusing us of "ignoring his medical opinion" and "stopping him from doing his job" because we could not afford the expensive diagnostic tests that he wanted to do. We simply wanted more information and to learn about other options, but he was short with us and very standoffish. I hope others have better luck with the other vets at the clinic, but we will not be returning to this particular one due to this unpleasant vet.
Incredibly impressed with staff and doctors. Finally a doctor that is knowledgeable and kind. Reasonable prices, and sincere care. And even though veterinary work is expensive, I find that here I am not overpaying for routine services. I've visited other vet's in the Utah County area and have always left disappointed. At least here, I can be confident my pet is taken care of. So glad I went here. And will bring any future pets here for their care.
Prices are OK, but the service is incredible. We have always been treated well and the facility is clean and new.
My pets have always been excellently cared for at All About Pets, from standard vaccine appointments to fixing a broken leg on my cat and my dog's torn ACL. All of the staff are great and do everything they can to care for my babies. They obviously care for the animals and are willing to do everything they can to keep them healthy. The clinic is also a really nice place and it never smells like an animal hospital. I'd recommend them to anyone!
Thumbs down! on this group. I take my pets in, they quote me a price and by the time I leave it's at least twice what I was told. I had forgotten that I told myself that I wasn't going to go back, that last time I got taken. This time around, I told them I needed to get my dogs prescription renewed and they told me that he needed to be examined by the vet. They quoted me $45 for the exam, but neglected to tell me that part of the exam would require blood work, another $160. He needed the meds, so I had it done. Then I had thought I'd get my cat declawed that day also. (Not a fan of declawing but it was the last resort for her) I was quoted $140. A great price compared to the rest. I got her in, then was told about the blood work for $75 and the "optional" pain meds for another $75. Like she's not going to need pain meds. So $310, total, over the expected (if I should choose to accept), plus the $100 I spent getting their vaccinations updated. They apologized but wouldn't even work on a payment plan. So the cat didn't get declawed and I was down $250. Then I couldn't afford the meds that I took the dog in to renew to begin with. It took two months to catch up and get enough together for the meds. So I looked on line but found that surprisingly AAP's price was as good as the on line. (Yes, I really am gullible) They quoted me $79. So I went in to buy from them, but again they apologized. They had given me the 2010 pricing. The price was $97 after tax. Of couse I was there, so I paid the extra $20. That's their game. These people are liars, straight up. They quote good to get you there, then count on you not wanting to waste your time going somewhere else. Do they care about your pet? I din't see them being any more caring than other places I had been. I know they don't give a crap about the one paying the bill. I had Mt. Nebo in Spanish Fork actually offer to have someone come in early so I could drop my pet and get to work on time, and they quoted me an honest up front price. Not the one I wanted to hear like AAP did, but at least they didn't treat me like a fool. I don't mean to sound like I care more about money than my pet, I'm willing to pay what I need to, but I can't trust my pet with anyone who has to lie to get me there.
