This clinic and these people are amazing! Although I am devastated, I could not have asked for better end-of-life care for my dog! I am so very grateful. Our 18 year old dog was very sick on Saturday and our regular vet could not see us. I knew it was important she be seen and when I called The Avenues Pet Clinic in tears, they said I could come right over and wait to be seen. Dr. Ponce and Brandon were so gentle and kind with both our Scruffy and my raw emotions. They explained our choices and helped us come to terms with her pain and whether or not it was time to let her go. I wanted her to enjoy her last moments in her bed, at her house, and Dr. Ponce was willing to come to our house to euthanize her. They did an incredibly difficult thing so sweetly and really brought her the peace she deserved. My humble words cannot express my gratitude and respect for handling such a painful event so professionally and compassionately. So glad I called The Avenues Pet Clinic.

I've been going to APC for 7 years now and I have never had a bad experience. Dr. Ponce has always taken good care of my cats, has been up front, honest and I've felt good about being there. Never felt that I "needed" to get a service from them, options were available for everything. I was especially thankful for her in-home euthanasia service as morbid as it sounds. To have my pet go to sleep in the comfort of my own home was a service worth paying extra for.

Saw us the same day, were very quick and good with my dog. Very affordable as well, was expecting the bill to be about twice what I actually paid. Dr Ponce was very knowledgeable and explained what was going on and the process that would follow. We just got home to write the review but I hope the results of the work she did come back with good news

they were cheaper than most and weren't fanatics...so didn't make me feel like i had to buy all this extra stuff for my dog. bad news though...they know how to get you. 7 months later i needed a prescription refill and they wouldn't give me one until they screened her for heartworm. asking $26 for test or you can get it free and buy it through them...at a significantly highter price.

I have taken my Scottish Terrier here for as long as I have had the dog. They have always been very gentle and caring. The first month I had her, I got her from a rescue, I swear we were in the vets office every other day for one reason or another. Everyone is very friendly and my dog never seems upset to be there which means alot to me the ever nervous and overprotective pet parent. They may be more expensive than other vets, honestly I never called around to see. When I was looking for a vet I went based off of recommendations from friends. I did not call around to try to find the best deal. Animal care is not some sort or commodity, I am interested in the best care, not the cheapest.
