I have been going to Dancing Cats for over a year now and am so happy to have Dr. Larsen and her caring staff taking care of my three cats. My oldest cat, Mittens, had been diagnosed by a previous vet with feline kidney disease based on his blood work. Dr. Larsen redid his blood work about six months later and said he did not have kidney disease--the blood work came out virtually the same as the previous vet. But because I had been feeding him grain free high protein food, some of the values were higher (creatitine & bun I believe) but Dr. Larsen assured me it is completely normal to have higher values and it didn't mean he had kidney disease. What a relief that was! I had been feeding him an expensive prescription kidney diet that the previous vet had recommended. I was so relieved to hear Mittens was just fine and I will be eternally grateful to Dancing Cats. I could stop there but there is more. I used to have my cat's dentals done yearly--Dr. Larsen patiently explained that this is not always the best thing for them due to the fact they had to go under sedation which can be hard on their kidneys. Dr. Larsen and her staff taught me how to "brush" my cat's teeth using a square of gauze and now I do that in hopes of avoiding the yearly dental. Of course, I will do the dental if needed but if I can avoid it then it's better on my pocketbook and the cat's health. See with Dr. Larsen you're getting a vet who is concerned with the whole cat--not just the symptoms. She has an amazing touch--so gentle and yet so effective. I wish I had a tenth of her skills with animals. I'm just very fortunate that I found her. Her practice is the only feline practice in Utah--no barking dogs around to scare my cats. She also believes you should not declaw your cat and does not declaw cats just to make a quick buck. This is the vet you want for your cats. Trust me when I say I am extremely happy with Dr. Larsen and her wonderful and caring staff.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Dr. Larsen is wonderful. It's great to have a vet clinic that is dedicated to cats . . . only! She's the best. And her staff is wonderful.

There is nobody out there that I trust more than Dr. Larsen. After several years of almost daily vomiting from my aging kitty, I thought we were nearing the end. We had seen several different doctors, all of whom just injected my kitty with steroids. Dr. Larsen took a good look at my kitty and could tell right away he was experiencing an allergy to his food. Within a day of switching him to grain free food, it was like he was 10 years younger. I have no doubts she gave me more time with my kitty. If you care about your cats at all, you NEED Dr. Larsen. Prices are great too!

I can't say enough good things about Dancing Cats!! Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The office is cute, clean, and has a warm inviting feeling. The veterinarian is very sweet and knowledgeable. I called them when my kitty got sick, and even though the vet was home sick, she called me every few hours to check in. I was very impressed!! I can't imagine a better vet!! They really care about the animals- not the money- and it shows!! If I had to say one negative thing about Dancing Cats, it's their hours. They're only open a few Saturdays a month which can be hard for those of us who work long hours. I LOVE Dancing Cats!!!
