Highly recommended by me. I don't care that their price are somewhat lower, I'd pay almost any price for the great care they have always given my dog. I drive from Holladay when many places are closer. I wouldn't trust my pal to anyone else.

My Dog and I love this place, actually I have taken many dogs here and I know my friends have taken their pets here as well...they have a great staff and great doctors. I even met their I.T. Guy once and he is nice too.

On 11/8/13, I called this vet because my regular office was booked. Hunter Animal Hospital got me in that day and stayed open after hours to see my dog even though we'd never been there before. Earlier in the week, a different animal hospital had failed to diagnose my dog correctly and had charged me nearly 500 dollars. Dr. Amber Da Silva, at Hunter Animal Hospital, found the source of my dog's illness within a few minutes and charged me a fifth of what I'd spent earlier in the week. She was personable, intelligent, and gentle with my dog. Due to the excellent care that we received at Hunter, I will be bringing my pets there for all of their veterinary needs. I have been to three different animal hospitals in the Salt Lake City area and Hunter Animal Hospital is by far offers the most far prices and their staff is very friendly. For repeat maintenance visits to monitor my older dog, they sometimes did not charge me for some tests and/or a visit charge. I was buying the prescription drugs from them, so I felt that was very fair. I would highly recommend them.

Nice people, reasonable prices, good location, great care. If you are as picky with your vet as you are with your family doctor, I recommend you check out Hunter.
