This is a great place to take your pet. My dog has some pretty serious allergy issues. Dr. MacLevenan was kind, sincere, knowledgeable, and just great with my dog. All of the staff at University Vet Hospital are professional and friendly. Great place, I'd recommend it to anyone.

I've used several veterinary clinics/hospitals in the Salt Lake valley and University Veterinary Hospital provides the best care my dog has ever received. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the veterinarians - especially Dr. Lyn Mc Carren - are excellent. Appointments are timely, their hours are very convenient, the facility is bright, clean, and homey. The hospital provides excellent followup by both veterinarians and staff. Their prices are slightly more than others but the care your pet receives is worth it

I was very impressed with the knowledge and compassion on my first visit. I called 30 minutes before closing(I was one of those people!) concerned about my cat. They were able to see me right away, and were extremely welcoming, never making me feel like a bother for coming in so late. Dr.Zelnik was very thorough, and explained everything thoroughly, giving her recommendations. I am a certified veterinary technician myself, and I truly felt taken care of. She was very understanding of cost and gave me an estimate of what everything would cost, and supported my decision either way. Definitely the best animal hospital I have been to here.

We have been to other practices where our concerns were brushed off and our cat wasn't treated gently. We like the fact that the staff seems to really care about our aging pet and us and have provided the care that he needs.
