They were very professional and compassionate, even when I was an emotional wreck. I feel that they did the best they could for my little ferret. Expensive but worth it, I would recommend them.
Do NOT bring your animal here if you want it to live!! I brought my rabbit in for GI Stasis and they told me it would be $65 for an exam to see what was wrong. They called me and told me he was in pain (which of course I could tell) and that I needed to pay an additional $332 to do a work up on him. If he needed surgery it would be an additional $1000-$1500. I asked if they could give him the medication and formula for an extra $80 and I would take him home instead of leaving him there overnight. I received NO tips or recommendations, never was able to speak to the actual vet and felt like they were trying to upsell me and since I didn't opt for the additional treatment they didn't give me any tips or advice on how to help him. The next day he was in pain and so I called to ask what medication they'd given him and the receptionist said it was a strong narcotic, look at your receipt to find out what kind of medication we gave him and you either need to bring him in for surgery or euthanize him. They didn't mention that 50% of rabbits DON'T survive surgery. I researched online and saved my rabbits life with pineapple juice, gas relief drops, enemas, and love. This clinic ONLY cares about $$ and couldn't care less about helping the patient.
They saved my 2 ranchu goldfish. Dr. Harris gave them antibiotic shots. My fish would be DEAD if we had not taken them here.
We have brought Nibbles, a hamster and Maxwell, a guinea pig to Dr. Harris. In both cases she was thorough, competent and compassionate. Our Maxwell had managed to get a bead stuck around his top teeth. We had to page Dr. Harris and she willingly met us at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday night to take care of the problem. She went out of her way to help little Maxwell and our little girls (and I) were all very grateful.
I love this hospital so much!!! Dr. Harris is the best!! She cares for my sugar gliders and my leopard gecko. She has such great knowledge and she loves her work and the animals. I respect her and the employees and their work. She knows her stuff and i'm glad. Thank you!! I will always keep bringing my little exotic furry or non furry kids to you!! Thanks again!
